Illegible Kisses

Chapter Ten

The next day I woke up really good. The bed was so nice and clean. No car engine voice to ruin your day , just some birds' whisles. It was pretty nice to wake up that way. I took a quick shower , changed my clothes into shorts and plain t-shirt and went out. All teachers and students were in the small restaurant there. Every group of friends were sat together. There weren't loads of students though , I could say about seventy students next to the teachers' number. Yeah I guess. 

Anyway , I went and sat with the teachers , I didn't want to but I was starving to argue. Some pancakes would make everything better. I ordered my food and watched the old men talking about education. For fuck's sake really ? I took out my phone and began to do whatever was available to avoid this conversation. I looked around , trying to find her but she wasn't there. Even though her friends were here , she wasn't. I wish she didn't catch a cold or something. But thankfully all my doubts disappeared when she showed up. 

"Um Can you please hear me ? The coach is announcing a soccer match after half an hour , whoever wants to watch , please be there. " She said and waved to Matthew to come. He ran towards her and they both went out. I wanted to follow them quickly but my pancakes and coffee arrived.

Dammit. I began to eat normally and found the students were standing to go out. That would be a good timing to follow. I paid quickly and left the table without any words. I found them all there , she was standing next to the coach I don't know what they were talking. Matthew was tying his shoe and went to stand next to her. 

"Okay those are going to play." The coach said and Joy kept looking in his note.

"Hey what about me ?"

"You can't play with boys , dangerous for you." Matt said with both caring and teasing tone.

"I used to train with boys and beat the butts. Would you like to see ?" She said , staring straight in his eyes with fake anger.

"Oh that's the spirit I'm talking about. Bolter , you're in." The coach announced and she wanted to jump with happiness but kept her straight hard face. 

She tied her hair in a high pony tail and stood in front of another guy from her team to start the game and began to discuss their plan. 

"In position." The coach played the refree rule with his best friend , the red whistle. He whistled and the game started. 

It was just a game but she took it seriously. She was playing way better than the guys here. She was blocked by loads of tall guys they would take the ball from her without trying but she actually , as she said , kicked their butts. 

She tried several times to score but it wasn't her lucky day. But she did what no other boy did. It was a corner shot now and she stood in between all those guys , didn't give a care. Loads of people were cheering for her and the coach was supporting her pretty much. Matthew was trying have a hold of her but she kept pushing him , trying to concentrate. He was smiling how close they were again. I felt he would get a boner anytime. If I were him , I would. 

The ball was kicked and she jumped and hit it with her head towards the goal. And she scored. 

She was so crazy she did a slide with her knees against the grass. I swear everybody were cheering for her and I was standing there watching and clapping cooly. 

The game was done , won by her team because of her goal. 

"LET'S GO TO SWIM FOR CELEBRATION." Emma yelled and the whole students cheered. A guy from Joy's team carried her and ran towards the lake and everybody were after them. He threw her and she came our cursing and laughing at the same time. She's having pure fun. 

She spotted me and while everyone were jumping with their clothes on. She kinda waved at me and I did back. We kept looking at each other until Mattshit came from nowhere and held her. My smile she caused faded the moment I saw this scene. I wanted to get them all out of the lake just because of that but when I saw how happy she was I stopped myself. 

I fisted my hands into two furious balls and returned back to my cabin. Not a good start.

I kept myself locked in the cabin working upon some articles I needed to finish. I didn't leave at all. Was not in the mood to see them in that position again. Why didn't she stop him ? Fuck Joy you're mine. 

Work was the only way to think about something else. I needed my whiskey. But of course I couldn't bring any. Fuck that again. 

I had finished my work and turned off my laptop. Looking from my cabin's window , I could see everything. They were having a small party. Dancing , singing and having tents to sit inside them. They were having fun. I wished I could but it's not me. I saw her sitting in front of the fire , laughing and moving. I took a cigarette out and lit it.

My lust for her reached a bad level. I wanted her everything , even that smile. I wanted to kiss those cherry lips , that soft body , that ... Everything. 

She stood and began to swing with the others. She's not that shy anymore. She socialized very well. It was good for her and bad for me. I want to be her everything , her life. She'll be mine. 

I wanted to call her , I hadn't talked to her today at all. I just wanted to hear the voice that drives me to the edge every time. 

I picked my phone up and got her number from the contact list. It was ringing , still looking at her from my window. She picked her phone out from her hoddie's pocket. She looked a bit and ... she smiled. She dismissed herself and went away.

"Hello." Her voice came like angel's voice in my ear. 

"Hey. How are you doing ?" I asked and slept on the bed. 

"Great. I ...um... didn't see you the entire day. Are you okay ?" She said so softly it made me so weak.

"I'm fine , work." 

"But it's a trip and I don't think school has given you work to do it while you're on a some kind of a vacation." 

"No , another work." I said and she hummed. "For publishing company." I continued and she took a deep breath. "You didn't think about the criminal thing again , did you ?" She laughed softly. 

"No ?" She said and we both laughed again. Can't she come to my room already ? 

"What are you gonna do now ?" I asked and she groaned. 

"Thinking about sleeping actually. What a day !" She said and I hummed.

"You played pretty well today." I said and I didn't hear from her any response I thought the line was dead.

"You ... you watched me ?" She asked and could hear the shock in her voice. 

"Yeah , you were pretty great." I said and her breath was heavy. I did that to her. Proud.

"Um thank you. I-I need to go. Bye." She said and didn't wait for me to reply again.  

I looked at the phone for a moment and smiled. Fuck what is going on with me ?
