Illegible Kisses

Chapter Nine

The Trip day.

I had to ride with them. I had to wake up way earlier than I do in normal days to prepare everything. I had to go earlier and see people I didn't want to see. And when all the students came , they gave me that list so I could call their names. Who cares who rides in which bus ? They all will go at the end.

"Okay guys. Okay. Now listen. I'll call your names for your presence and whoever hears his or her name , please ride quickly." I began to call every single name. 

"..... Natalie McCall. Mathew Edwards." They stepped and it was a girl I don't think I know and that dude again.

"Joy Bolter." I called and she stepped towards me. She was wearing a yellow/white dress with a light denim jacket over it and her hair was left freely to move. She looked glorious for me to handle. She had smiled towards me before stepping inside the bus. 

I called the rest of the names until all of them were here and sat in there places. I went up and saw her sitting next to the window and sticking close to her was Mattshit. In front of them were that Natalie and another girl call Emma. And behind them was Matt's best friend Scott. Are they her new group of friends ?

"Okay , I won't tell you to stay in your seats because I know you won't. Do whatever you want but don't tell anyone I have told you that." They all cheered even Mattshit and Joy giggled at Matthew's reaction. I was about to glare towards him until I saw her looking at me. She looked away the moment she felt she was caught and smiled. I told the driver to begin his long journey and sat in my place smiling at the close possiblities I had.

"So what are you planning to do there Joy ?" Matt asked and I shrugged. Matt is one of the good friends I knew here. 

"Um I don't know. Maybe swimming , maybe running. Camping would be nice. I don't know what activites there will be." I said and he nodded. 

"I forgot to tell you how beautiful you look today." I felt the blood running towards my cheeks in a matter of seconds. 

"Thank you." I replied softly but he got really close to me. I didn't mind it but it felt kind of strange.

"I'm saying the truth. You look more beautiful day. You're always are." He said and I looked away , avoiding looking at him. Scott came from nowhere and his head appeared between ours.

"Make out already." I looked at him in surprise because his voice was too loud that I think everybody had heard it but didn't try to look. 

"Shut up you freak." Matt said and pushed his head back again. "I'm sorry about him." He apologized.

"It's okay. I'll listen to some songs until we reach there." I said , avoiding any further awkwardness. 

"Um okay. I'll sleep a bit." He said and I nodded placing my Beat By Dre headphones my dad bought for me in my last birthday. He picked the best color too. Blue. I really have something for blue.

I really miss dad. I really want to go and see him. I wished they didn't have to get divorced. I now can't see him as much as I used to. Now I have to wait because he can't travel and leave his work. He calls a lot. He always does , in every single day. Even though I'm really close to dad more then mum I decided to go with mum and dad thankfully understood. I couldn't leave her. She would break apart without me so I had to.

I was listening to I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy and turned the volume too high so I could be alone in my own world. I was really happy that I was surrounded by those nice people. Natalie was so amazing to me the moment I met her in English. She introduced me to Emma then Emma introduced me to her cousin who happens to be Matt.
