"For our class valedictorian, lets welcome....."

Our teacher really loves the thrill of pausing names. Tsss. Im shaking here.

My name still hasn't called. It has two meanings. Either I'm the class valedictorian or Im not an honor student.

Tsss my teachers even said I'll get on top. But what's this.

"No other than miss..." shit this. She's always pausing.

"Miss Samara Morgan!" I'm shookt! Gosh! I can secure my scholarship! Thank you Lord!

I make my way to the stage of the auditorium and recieved my certificate for the last grading.

"Congrats Samara." The teacher said.

"Thanks teacher" I said with a smile.

Its the last week of practice and I still can't believe that I made it. With flying colors.

I'm excited for the graduation rights next Monday.

I already gave the news to my parents. They were so happy. They even said that they'll buy my dream car for me. But I refuse it. I'll just gonna use the money for my studies. Becoming a Neuro is a long way ride.

I'm carrying loads of paper from the faculty room to our classroom. Its the test paper from the summative tests.

Its actually light but its a lot.

"May I help you?" Someone spoke. Its... I forgot his name. But he's familliar.

"Don't you remember me Samara?" Huh?

"Sorry. You're familliar but I forgot your name." I'm being honest.

"Its Patrick. Last year's Sports club President. We met at a seminar last year." Ohh I see. Now i remembered.

"Ohh the 'Mister Giant' of the batch" yes. He's a giant. Standing in front of me is a 6 foot basketball. Dream of all girls. Hes also a graduating student from the other class.

"Glad you remember. I'll carry those paper."

"I can handle it." I refuse his offer.

"I insist. Let me." He carry all the test paper by himself.

Its awkward talking to him on our way to our room. People are staring. Like, I'm with the mr popular.

He also knew about me and Zaiden. He also gave some advice.

"You know Samara, your a kind of girl who is worth it. So move on from Zaiden." Yeah, I should really do that. And I'm currently in the process. I think I'm close.

But I felt something weird because of his words. Naaahhh nevermind.

"Yeah I know. Im close to being free already." I stated.

"Glad to hear that" He smiled.

When we reached my room, he placed the paper in the teacher's table.

"Thanks Patrick."

"No problem. So friends?"

"Because why not? Friends." We shaked hands.

I'm just happy to have a new friend despite all this problems.
