Sidon's POV
"Ugh..." I complained quietly as I opened my yellow eyes to a cold and empty wooden room. Shivering, I reluctantly sat up, my eyes wandering around the dark shack. I turned my attention to the fireplace, it's crackling gone quiet, and all that remained were burnt coals.
I attempted to move further before I realized that something was amiss. "Link?" I looked around in panic, before realizing that Link was nowhere to be found. His bag and jacket were gone without a trace. I stood up abruptly; soon regretting it as I sat back down, my head spinning wildly. "Tch..." I said softly as I held onto my head, my body weak. I stood back up and grabbed my coat, throwing it on before rushing out of the cabin to chase after the small blonde.Link! Where are you?
I looked around hurriedly before finally spotting the faint track of Link's boots in the high snow. I followed the trail. The snow was cold and harsh as I trudged up the mountains following the fading trail.
I don't remember how long I walked those mountains looking for the blue eyed blonde. It felt like every second was an eternity, and it tugged at my heart like a puppet master does to his puppets' limbs. But I had to keep looking, no matter what.
Swallowing harshly I kept moving, my body weak and my red skin frozen to the touch. I climbed to the highest peak... before finally collapsing to my frostbitten knees. Tears overflowing from my golden eyes.
"Link..." I whispered shakily as I held myself gently, my body shaking as I sobbed silently into the white Hebra snow.
I had seen the look in his eyes, and those... those were not the eyes of someone who wanted to live. Those were the eyes of a person who had given up, he saw that in my eyes as well.
So why? Why couldn't I save him? Why couldn't I hold him close and tell him that it was going to be okay? Better question, why didn't I?Why?
With no other alternative I started to scream, tears falling down my face like a waterfall. I grabbed my head harshly as I looked up to the cloudy sky. "You can't..." I said between my ragged breaths.
I looked down a bit, looking at the area before me, before- I saw it.
A tree, a tall white pine tree. Snow coating it softly. Stood there. A long bag tied with a white scarf to one of the sturdy snow covered branches. Or so I saw, it was quite a ways away. I stood up, and began to approach the white pine, the tears subsiding.
Until I stood in front of the pine, red splattered across the ground. And before me, a man... a white scarf round his neck, and his skin a sickly purple. His eyes, a faded and dull blue.
And his hair, a dusty blonde. And clothed in a blue top, and black snow boots...
The man appeared to be dead, until I heard him wheeze harshly. I cut him down swiftly, he fell into my arms coughing harshly as his arms bled profusely. I stood there, the small blonde man leaning into my chest. Blood covering his frail frame.
I looked down in disbelief at the man, tears beginning to fall again as I stared into his eyes. He looked up into mine, before a gentle smile spread across his features.
No words were exchanged between us, none at all. No words were needed, we could understand everything through our eyes.
And I remember, when he closed those eyes. Those blue eyes. It was like he was expecting us to meet again, like he was telling me-"When we meet again, in a different time.
Let's play like we used to-
When we were kids."(HELLO I AM AUTHOR AND I GIVE YOU SUCKY END CHAPTER, THIS IS OVER, ITS DEAD)
