Yep that's right new year new me. Psych.
School started today. It's too soon!! I mean everyone was literally up in the middle of the night the day before! So what makes administration think I wanna drag my lazy ass out of bed that soon?? I need, like, three days of recovery. 😏
So yeah I was basically a hot mess today. Wait no I was actually a freezing cold mess cuz it snowed and the temperature was in single digits and oof. Just oof.
I left my phone at home, which isn't really a big deal, but it was first thing in the morning. And that's how you know it's gonna be a helluva rough day.
My melanin levels have betrayed me. I was pretty religious about using sunscreen at the beach (not in Jersey obv). But I forgot it once, one frickin time, and my skin turned six shades darker. And that's a lot.
I had someone tell me I look orange. Under our current political circumstances, I was quite offended.
And my swimsuit was a racer back, so now I have an awkward racer back tan, which is much worse than strap tans.
Some kids at school effed up and decided to take too many spoons and forks at lunch, so now you have to pay 5 cents to use a spoon. But like who tf carried around nickels these day??

^i know that makes no sense. that's the point.
I forgot to take a spoon to school...and so I ended up eating rice with two knives. And I'm genuinely surprised I managed not to slit my tongue.
Also I have history tomorrow and I have no damn clue what's going on.
Buuuuuuuut
I actually got compliments on my outfit which never happens cuz I basically live in sweatpants. But hey. No regrets
