Your hands fumbled over the envelope in your hands, as you rushed to open it. It was from Hope's Peak Academy, about your application that you submitted over the summer. It was your dream to be accepted into the school.
You finally tore open the envelope, and pulled out a handwritten, laminated letter with neat cursive. A smile crept onto your face as you realized you were accepted. You were given the title Super High School Level Guitarist. Of course. You used to be in a band in your old school before you decided to transfer, and your old friends grew angry and disbanded. Your smile wavered as you remembered the sad memory. You had a small crush on one of your old friends, Kyle. You believed he could be your soulmate.
When you turned age 16 a tattoo would appear on your wrist and the person with the identical mark would be your soulmate. You realized Kyle wouldn't be your soulmate when a mark appeared on his wrist and his soulmate turned out to be another friend of yours. Your crush immediately evaporated, thank goodness it wasn't too deep. You mentally laughed as you remembered their mark being a shoe. It was because your friend was a High School Shoemaker. Not super, because that title was reserved for advanced schools like Hope's Peak.
Maybe your tattoo would be a guitar. That would be amazing.

A few weeks later...
It was the first day of the school year, and you stood at the gate outside of the school. The building loomed over you, almost as if it touched the sky. You saw students nervously walking around as they introduced themselves. You might as well do the same thing. You walked onto the campus.
Immediately, a tanned girl with a red coat and a very muscular girl walked over to you.
"Hello! I'm Aoi Asahina, Super High School Level Swimmer!" said the tanned girl, with a very cheery tone to her voice.
"I'm Sakura Oogami," said the muscular girl next to her in a low, gruff voice.
"We noticed you just walked onto campus and we thought you'd like to meet some of your classmates," Asahina explained.
"Well thanks I probably would've been too nervous to introduce myself to anyone," you replied. "My name is (y/n) (l/n)." Asahina grinned.
"I really like your name," she complimented.
"Thanks! Do you guys mind if I follow you guys around for awhile? You're the only people I've spoken to." You grinned awkwardly, feeling slightly nervous. Oogami nodded, a small smile on her face. A bell rang, signalling that class was about to start.
"Oh! First hour is homeroom. Who's your homeroom teacher?" Asahina asked.
"Mrs. (random name)," you read off of your schedule.
"So do we! I already toured the school, so follow me," Asahina grabbed your arm, before leading you to a room, Oogami close behind. When you walked in, there were 14 other students. A majority of the guys were in the back, save for one with light brown eyes and hazel eyes. He smiled shyly as you and your new friends walked in.
"That's Naegi," said Asahina. You looked around to your classmates as Asahina pointed each one out. You knew you wouldn't remember all of their names, but a few stood out. A girl with purple hair and sharp, intellegent eyes named Kirigiri really caught your eye. She struck you as someone who wouldn't be easily fooled and could get the truth out of anyone just with her stare. Another girl was Celestia Ludenberg, and you wondered if that was actually her name considering she was Japanese. You were from (country name) so your name was different. One girl was named Sayaka Maizono. She was a famous dancer and singer. You owned a couple of her albums, and she seemed like a sweet girl.
"-And that's Leon Kuwata, our own school star," Asahina finished, and your eyes locked onto him. His hair was dyed orange, and his ear was covered in piercings. He had a small goatee and a punk-style outfit. His icy blue eyes were mesmerizing. Damn, Leon Kuwata was very hot. You felt heat rise to your face as his eyes locked with yours from across the room, and he smiled softly at you before turning his attention to Maizono, who started talking to him.
You shrugged, before turning to Asahina.
"We better find a seat before we can't sit next to each other," said Oogami.
"Good idea," you replied. You followed them to the second row, and sat behind Naegi, Asahina to your left, and Oogami two seats away, as she was next to Asahina. The desk to your right was empty. The final bell rang, and the other students scrambled into the remaining seats. The teacher walked in, a short and thin woman with wide eyes and a bun.
"I'm Mrs. (random name), your teacher for this year," she said in a rather annoying voice. The day was going to be long.
