A couple weeks later...

School was going pretty well. You met a few of your classmates personally, including your idol Maizono. She was very cheerful and kind, despite the fact that she was a famous superstar. She seemed to spend a lot of time with Leon, and it slightly bothered you, but you didn't know why.

You were extremely excited. In a week you would recieve your tattoo and find your soulmate. Maybe it would be someone in your class. You shuddered, hoping it wouldn't be Yamada. No offense to him, but he was strange. Always going on long talks about something irrelevant. You felt bad for anyone who would be his soulmate. You saw the tattoo on his wrist. Someone out there was his soulmate.

Class was boring. Mrs. (random name) was teaching algebra. Oh my goodness. Math, stop trying to make us find your x. She's not coming back. Also stop having us solve your problems.

You sighed, jotting down notes so you wouldn't fail the class if the teacher decided to give you a quiz. Suddenly, you heard a snap and a bunch of laughter from the back. You turned around to see Leon and another guy you think was named Oowada laughing as the Ishimaru turned around, glaring. Mrs. (random name) stopped writing, and turned around. Ishimaru and Oowada were dead silent, but Leon was still smirking.

"Kuwata, would you like to share whatever you were talking about with your pal?" she asked. Leon looked startled, and started shaking his head.

"No! I don't know what you're talking about!" he almost shouted.

"Interruptions won't be tolerated. How about you move to the second row next to Miss (l/n)?" she snapped, gesturing to the open desk next you. You gulped, and stared down at your desk. You heard Leon sigh and walk to the seat next to you. The teacher resumed teaching.

"Hey, can I have a piece of paper?" Leon whispered, tapping your desk. Startled, you looked over to see him smiling.

"O-Oh! Sure," you took a piece of paper out of your binder, before handing it to him.

"Thanks, my name's Leon Kuwata," He held out his hand, and you hesitated, before shaking it.

"I'm (y/n) (l/n)," you replied. You briefly saw his wrist, which had a silvery shape that you couldn't quite make out. He noticed you seeing, and pulled his sleeve over it, trying to be discreet but failing. You felt embarrassed.

"Want to talk after class?" he asked cheerfully. You nodded. You had a free period after this.

Before you knew it, the bell rang. You picked up your stuff, and then started to head out. Leon jogged next to you, a bang slung over his shoulder.

"Hey don't forget about me!" Leon huffed as he stopped beside you. "Want to go hang out outside?"

"Sure," you smiled. You both walked onto campus, where other students were starting to appear. Leon lead you to a nearby cherryblossom tree. He sat down at the base of it, gesturing for you to sit next to him. You complied.

"So, why do you want to get to know me?" you asked, confused. Leon rubbed the back of his neck.

"I don't know. I found you kind of attractive..." he said. "But that's not all! I really just want to make more friends." You grinned.

"Well thanks!" you giggled. "I'm a Super High School Level Guitarist."

"I'm a SHSL Baseball Player," Leon sighed sadly. "I was invited to the school because of my baseball skills. But really I want to sing. I want to be a vocalist for a band. All I'll need is a guitarist and a songwriter and I'll be set! I want to change my title to be SHSL Musician." You almost jumped. He needed a guitarist, and you were one, and you were good at writing songs.

"I could help you," you said suddenly.

"What?" his eyes widened as he turned and looked at you in shock.

"I told you I'm a SHSL Guitarist, and I'm fairly good at writing music," you exclaimed. Before you knew it, Leon wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in for a hug.

"Really?! This is amazing!" he shouted. Your face heated up, and he pulled away quickly as he realized that he was hugging you. "Sorry...."

"It's okay. How about we meet after school at my house and we start practicing scales and shit before I write music?" you offered. You tried not to blush, and that was hard.

"See you then," he replied. The bell rang, and Leon blinked. "Already? Well, goodbye (y/n). See you after school." With that, he walked away and you stared after him, still flustered.
