Chapter Twelve - Problems

You slowly started coming back to the world after the best dream that Leon was your soulmate-

Wait, this isn't right.

You felt something wrapped around you that definitely wasn't a blanket. Something warm was pressed against you. Your eyes opened and you saw Leon. It wasn't all a dream, thank goodness. Leon's chin was against your head, his beard tickling your forehead. You softly smiled and decided to get comfortable. But then Leon laughed.

"You're happy there, aren't you?" Leon asked. You squeaked.

"Wait how'd you know I was awake?" you asked.

"Remember, soulmates can feel what the other's emotions are," Leon reminded. You forgot that Oogami and Asahina had told you about this. "So I woke up when I felt you getting really happy and excited."

"Oh," you said. Now that he mentions it, there was a foreign feeling of grogginess but still happy feeling not from your own mind. The fact that he was so sleepy still made you want to giggle. "But can't soulmates hear each others' thoughts?"

"I was told that it usually happened after a while soulmates were together," Leon replied. You hummed in response.

"Do you want breakfast?" you asked.

"Well duh, I got woken up-" He paused. "But I was woken up by the most beautiful girl so that makes it slightly better. Though I wish I was still asleep."

"You love me," you teased while mirroring the smirk he always had plastered onto his face.

"Damn right I do," Leon replied. You suddenly became bashful. "I'll always win when we're teasing each other, trust me."

"Bet," you said.

"Okay," said Leon. You got out of the bed, and Leon pouted a bit but followed. You found his kitchen and started making pancakes. You could be the Super High School Level Cook if you wanted to, you bet. But that position was taken and you liked being the SHSL Guitarist. As you were mixing batter, you suddenly felt Leon's emotions change. Before you could figure out what it was, arms wrapped around you from behind. You huffed.

"I'm trying to cook your food," you tried to scold, but you figured he knew you weren't actually annoyed.

"I don't care I wanna hug you," Leon replied. "...And other things..." You blushed and almost dropped your whisk you were using.

"T-To soon!" you said, though the thought wasn't all too bad..

"Someday..."

"Please let me cook Leon! I'm hungry too y'know!" you whined.

"Wow, you eat?" Leon asked, pretending to be surprised. "You sure don't show it!"

"Of course I eat! Food is bae," you protested.

"What about me?" Leon replied, letting go of you. "You choose food over me?"

"Yes," you teased. Leon sighed and pouted. You instantly felt bad. "Nooo, I didn't mean it you're perfect and I love you." Leon laughed.

"I'm just messing around," Leon said. You huffed and finished making the pancakes before forcing Leon to get ready for school. Then you realized you didn't have clothes to go in.

"Shit, what am I going to wear to school?" you asked.

"You could wear your clothes from yesterday," Leon suggested.

"No, that's nasty," you replied. Leon thought.

"Well I have smaller shirts for when..." Leon stopped.

"When what?" you inquired, suspicious. Leon looked down.

"I'm sorry, but when I had girls over," Leon admitted. Your eyes widened. "Please don't be mad, this was before I knew who my soulmate was." You shook your head.

"It's fine," you replied. It didn't matter. Now that he found his soulmate he would be loyal, right? Leon got you the clothes, which turned out to be pretty good. You wore black leggings and a shirt that matched his, along with your shoes. "Let's go, last thing we need is a detention."

"Can we just skip?" Leon asked. "What's the point of going to school?"

"I know you're all set, Mr-I'm-Too-Cool-For-School, but I want an education so I can get my dream job," you said. Leon rolled his eyes.

"Seriously, you can just make up the work," Leon said.

"I don't want double the homework," you said. "Are we arguing over going to school?"

"I guess," Leon chuckled. He lead you to his truck and drove you both to school. There, you walked in and a few students looked at you, their eyes lighting up as they noticed you and Leon were holding hands. Asahina ran up to you, but Oogami wasn't with her.

"Hey, (y/n), are you alright since yes-" her eyes locked on Leon and then your interlocking hands. She smiled, jumping with joy. "I knew you and Leon were going to be soulmates!" Asahina's grin stretched ear to ear. You blushed and looked at the ground.

"Where's Sakura?" you asked. Asahina frowned.

"I haven't seen or heard from her," Asahina replied. "She hasn't responded to my mind-links either... That reminds me, have you both mind-linked yet?" You shook your head.

"We just became soulmates, we haven't experienced the main parts of it," Leon replied to Asahina. She had a smirk on her face.

"There's other things finding your soulmate makes you feel after awhile," Asahina said with a playful glint in her eyes.

"What do you mean by that?" you asked.

"She's too innocent!" Leon exclaimed, facepalming. "My soulmate is someone too innocent. I love innocent girls but damn." You took a moment to think, before realization dawned upon you and you squeaked. She meant... that... Asahina noticed your expression.

"Yup, after being with your soulmate for awhile, you start having some sexual desires," Asahina explained. "It's really a constant feeling of wanting them and it probably won't start for another couple weeks..." The warning bell rang, which meant that you had a couple minutes to get the class. You swore loudly before running inside, dragging Leon with you before you gave him an apologetic smile and went to your locker. As soon as you got your stuff and closed your locker, Enoshima made her appearance.

"Well my plan backfired yesterday," Enoshima said in her serious tone. "But you're going to pay for it. I'm sure you haven't been told of Leon's... womanizing nature?" You smirked.

"Actually I know about that," you replied. Enoshima blinked, but quickly recovered.

"Just because he found his soulmate, do you think that he's going to stop?" Enoshima asked in a crazier voice, sticking her tongue out. "Like the old saying says, old habits die hard!" She cackled before walking away. You stood for a couple moments, contemplating what Enoshima said. Then you shook your head. Enoshima was trying to get to your head. You shouldn't let her. But she was succeeding. You knew you had to trust Leon. You walked to your class and sat down right as the bell rang, and Leon came in just a few seconds late.

Class was uneventful, and you didn't talk to Leon much. You wanted to, but what Enoshima said bothered you. You mentally scolded yourself for being so dramatic. The bell rang and you waved to Leon before exiting the class. You were halfway to your class before you realized you had forgotten your book from your locker this morning since you usually got stuff for the next few classes so you wouldn't have to take so many trips, and went back. On the way, you heard some people muttering to each other and looking at you, and you stopped dead in your tracks.

In front of you was Leon kissing Sayaka Maizono.

If you want the truth I've written all the way to chapter 14 so I had a lot of prewritten chapters I've been with holding lol
