*Winter's pov*
Luke came into my house and I gave him the biggest kiss.
"How are you baby?"
He picked me up and hugged me, "I'm doing great since I'm with you now."
I giggled. He's perfect. I sat on the couch while he went to the kitchen and pulled open the fridge, grabbing us two bottles of chocolate milk. He came back and handed one to me, joining me on the couch. My phone made the text notification sound and I looked down at it.
It said,
Jenny
Hey girl, it's me again...when can I see you again?Luke looked over my shoulder and I immediately put my phone faced down, I don't want to talk to her anymore. He put his hand on mine and said, "Win, you should really talk to her...it's been weeks—" I cut him off
"I really don't know if I'm ready."
He looked down and nodded.
"I completely understand."
I flipped over my phone again and opened my messages.
Hey. Maybe we can get coffee. Let me know when you're free.
I put my phone down and took a big drink of my chocolate milk. I was going to regret this. But we'll see what happens.
