*Winter's pov*

"Have a holly jolly Christmas and in case you didn't hear, oh my golly have a holly jolly Christmas this year."

I hung up Christmas lights and sang to the music that was playing. It was Christmas morning and I was ready to open presents. I'm like a kid, opening presents is the best thing in the world. I danced around and my mom walked in. We sat on the couch and we had 4 little presents under the tree, one was mine to her, the next was hers to me, another one was Jenny's to me, and the last was Luke's to me. I opened my mom's first. It was a small square that was wrapped in festive red wrapping paper. I pulled off the tape to find that it was a nook. I hugged her, "Thank you so much, I love it." "You're welcome and I'm glad." I opened Jenny's next. It was a phone case that had half a heart and it said 'Best bitcheS" she would haha. I opened Luke's and it was a white lokai with a note on top.

I got a black one so we could match, I'll be with you through your ups and downs, the white part is the ups, and the black part is the downs

I giggled, he is so adorable.

"Hey baby pancakes are ready."

"Yes!" I ran into the kitchen to see the beautiful blueberry pancakes that she made. I gasped,

"They're so beautiful."

My mom laughed, "Like youuuuuuuuuu."

"Omggg stop."

She laughed again, "Oh just eat your pancake, here's the syrup."

I pulled out a chair and sat at our matching oak table set. I smiled and reached for the syrup.

"Thank you mom."

She sat down and we ate our pancakes together, as the Christmas music played softly in the background, muffled, coming from the living room. Christmas's are always really peaceful with her here.

(I was surprised when Elizabeth wanted to be with my dad for Christmas. I don't know why she did, but nonetheless. My dad left a while ago, the night that Luke said that he loved me for the first time, he lives in an apartment now. He seems to be working on his anger issues, but I don't really see him that often. My parents have worked out custody, but Elizabeth I guess didn't want to see us this year...that was a joke I hope you realized that.)

I ate both of the pancakes that my mom had put on my plate, it was so good, I drowned them in syrup just like I like them. I picked up my plate and stood up getting hers too. I stacked them and placed both by the sink. I turned around and my mom put her hands on her hips and asked me.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded my head. "Yes, I am"

I grabbed my jacket and my hat and she grabbed hers and we opened the door to see light snow on the ground, and trees with no leaves. We walked down the sidewalk into the neighborhood. We lived in a really nice neighborhood, it had many house stacked ontop of each other and a coffee shop a walks away. We walked in the crisp air, but luckily only our faces icy cold, the jackets helped. We strolled and took in our surroundings. We made a new tradition after my dad left of having a walk on Christmas, it's nice and relaxing, just how I think Christmas should be.

I passed the coffee shop that we are close to and I saw Jenny in there, she always has to get coffee on Christmas. Beside her was Isaac. I almost walked in there to say hi to her, I guess that's not happening now.

"What the, that bitch."

I walked past the shop fast and thought to myself, I can't be angry it's Christmas, I have to be happy
