Chapter 39: Jump

Vanna Lei smiled as she stared at Cloud preparing breakfast. Nakaupo siya sa harap ng hapag at sumisimsim paminsan-minsan sa tinimpla nitong kape para sa kanya.

She couldn't believe it's been more than FIVE years since they became official. Minsan hindi pa rin siya makapaniwala na sila na. Parang hindi rin nawala ang kilig niya mula noon.

Among their colleagues, it was Cristina who noticed it first. Katabi niya ito noon habang nagmi-meeting sila. Umpisa pa lang, napansin na nito ang kuwintas niya. The meeting was ongoing when Cloud unconsciously held his pendant. Agad naman siyang siniko ni Cristina dahil umilaw ang pendant niya. Hindi na siya nito tinantanan hangga't hindi siya nagkukuwento.

Since then, they've also been very careful around everyone in the agency. Everybody knew they were dating but nobody asked the real score between them, which she likes better.

They are not showy in public but when they are alone, it's like they enter into their own private bubble. Cloud is the sweetest. Lagi siya nitong kinukulong sa mga bisig na para bang ayaw siyang pakawalan.

She was happy that no matter how far their kissing and petting goes for the last five years, Cloud has always been respectful when she says she can't go beyond that. Sometimes he'd only grunt and then makes his way to the bathroom, which she perfectly understands. Mahirap din naman kasi talagang mabitin lalo na ang mga lalaki.

"You're ogling at my abs again," Cloud jested as he put the plate of omelet on the table.

Saglit pa siyang natuliro bago ito pabirong inirapan. She didn't realize her eyes settled on his body. Naka-boxers lang kasi ito at walang suot na pang-itaas. Tumawa naman ito ng mahina. Kinuha nito ang ginawang coleslaw at inihain na rin.

They began eating silently. As she munches her food, she's reminded how lucky she is having a man like Klein Rich.

Pagkatapos ng agahan, siya na ang nagboluntaryong magligpit ng pinagkainan, si Cloud naman ay nauna nang naligo. They plan to go out for a joyride. That's how they spend their free days for the last five years. Magda-drive lang si Cloud hanggang sa makahanap sila ng tahimik na lugar kung saan sila pwedeng umupo lang at magkuwentuhan. Kapag mas mahaba naman ang bakasyon, lumalabas sila ng bansa.

Sumunod naman siyang naligo nang matapos si Cloud. When she went out of the bathroom after few minutes, Cloud was still half naked. Nakapantalon lang ito.

"Can't decide which shirt to wear?" Nakangiti niyang tanong nang makita ang ilang shirts nito na nakalapag sa kama. Nagkibit-balikat naman ito at tinitigan lang siya.

Naiiling na lamang niyang kinuha ang pulang shirt at ibinigay ito sa kanya. She'll be wearing the same color. Hindi naman ito nagsalita at kinuha lang ang damit.

She was already infront of the mirror putting moisturizer on her face when she noticed Cloud staring at her reflection. Hindi pa rin nito isinusuot ang ibinigay niya.

"Hey, is there any problem?" she asked. Umiling naman ito. She smiled when he stepped closer and hugged her from behind. She was seated on the stool infront of the dresser.

Humigpit ang yakap nito sa baywang niya. The hair on her nape stood as he sniffed her neck.

"Klein." It sounded like a moan when Cloud gently nibbled her jawline. Nakiliti siya pero mas nanaig ang masarap na sensasyon.

She closed her eyes when he started ravaging her neck. Her breathing hitched. His hot tongue traced her shoulder blade as he gently lowered her robe. Naramdaman niya na ang marahang pagmasahe ng kamay nito sa baywang niya patungo sa tiyan.
