Chapter 9

*Lacey POV*

After I had a chat with Ally, she didn’t really help that much but I was ok with it. I got up and got ready for school. I braided my hair into a side ponytail while it was still wet. That way when I take it out it would at least look a bit curled. I put on my high-waist red shorts and put on my white and red striped suspenders. The I put on my navy blue and white striped shirt. After I took my braid out, I grabbed my red high-top converse. I looked great! I admired myself a little in the mirror. I then had grabbed my glasses since my eyes were hurting from what happened. I grabbed my back pack and headed down the stairs. I heard people talking and heard the boys talking about something downstairs.

I walked past them and they mouths had dropped. They eyes were wide and I saw a do drooling. Oh wait that was Louis, whoops! Was he checking me out? I snapped my fingers and they all looked at me. Boys! I rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen. I heard them enter and the sat on the table with me.

“Where are you going” Harry asked.

“I have school” I replied.

“Where do you go to school at” Zayn asked.

“I go to Hollywood Arts High School” I replied to Zayn.

“I’ve heard of that, most celebrities go there, well that’s what I heard.” Liam said.

“Yea or celebrities that haven’t finished school they continue to attend the school while they work on music” I said.

“That’s cool” Niall said with excitement.

My phone had buzzed in my pocket. I looked at the caller ID and saw that Jake was calling me. I answered the phone and Jake was yapping away. After I ended the call, the boys both asked who it was.

“It was Jake, he and his brother are coming over so they can have breakfast. Apparently they like to have breakfast at my place when they are running late.” I explained.

“Don’t they take time to get here?” Liam asked.

“All my friends live in the building we just usually meet other places than each other’s apartments.” I said.

I noticed Louis hadn’t said a word. He look depressed when my phone rang. There was always something up about him when I talked about Jake. I don’t know, maybe it’s just something else going on in his life. I looked to find Louis staring at me. I stared at him and we ended up staring at each other. I quickly turned my head towards the door to find Jake and Tony walking inside.

“Ever heard of knocking?” asked Harry.

“Yea I just don’t choose to” Louis replied and shrugged. He went straight towards the fridge.

“Hey I think we might need to call animal control” I said.

“Why?” asked Tony.

“Because your snout is digging in egg and cheese sandwich” I said bursting out laughing.

Everyone started laughing especially Louis and I haven’t seen him laugh in a while. I couldn’t control myself, I ended up on the floor laughing while Tony stood there pouting. I apologized to Tony and he forgave me because he knew it was funny.

“Bye guys tell Cassidy and Johnny I say bye” I said as I waved.

“Wait no hug?” asked Niall.

“Fine” I huffed.

I gave everyone a hug, when it came to Louis he stood there. We stared at each other for a while until I heard someone clear their throat. I hugged Louis and he hugged me back.

“By the way, you look really sexy in stripes and suspenders” Louis whispered in my ear. My eyes widen and I pulled away from the hug.

“Thanks… I guess?” I replied. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit.

We walked out of the building and we were on our way to school.

“What was that about between you and Louis?” asked Jake.

“Oh um nothing” I said and smiled and replayed those words in my head. I kept smiling to myself.

*Louis POV*

After Lacey had left we searched the room for anything of our merchandise. We knew she had lied so we just need something to prove that she is hiding something. The boys went to look through her room. I decided to look in the music room.

“Did you find anything yet?” asked Niall.

“Nope” I said popping the “P”

The boys gave up in her room so they decided to help me. We searched everything and found nothing.

“Hey guys, come here” Liam said.

We walked towards the book shelf and we saw a crack of light. Something was behind there. We moved the bookshelf and there was a stair case. We walked up and once we got in there, our jaws had dropped. We walked into a land of us. There we posters on the ceiling and the walls. All our merchandise that has been sold had been in this room. We walked out of the room to look at a whole new apartment. Lacey had her own apartment up here. My mind was currently being blown. The boys started exploring and we couldn’t believe anything. Now that we had our evidence I was so ready to bust Lacey. It won’t be easy but I have a plan.
