Chapter 30

*Liam POV*

I was so happy to help out Louis with planning the date. Lacey loved it! I had been quite nervous about that girl in my class. She has brown straight hair that go perfectly with her brown eyes. She wears contacts but she thinks she looks weird in them so she wears glasses. She looks good in both but to be honest she looks supremely hot with contacts. She is kind of short which is cute. She is into dancing and basketball. I love playing basketball but dancing well I'm not good at. I sneaked in on her dance practice and watched her every move. She wasn't like those stuck up girls who wear those short dresses. She likes wear something casual yet comfortable. I sat next to her at lunch one time; she was having some strawberries and Oreo bits. My favorite! The best part is her name! Alexa Caroline Hayes. I can say it all day.

I feel like we are meant for each other. Every time I'm near her I get nervous. Oh gosh here she comes. I lean against my locker and act cool.

"Hey Liam"

"Oh Alexa, didn't see you there"

"So what's up?" she twirled her hair.

"Nothing much"

"Oh well I'm going to dance practice and I was hoping to go for ice cream later. I wanted to know if you wanted to join me"

"Of course I will come!"

"Okay meet me near the dance studio after school. I will see you then" she waved me off and left. I watched her hair move side to side as she walked.

I waited for her after school. She came out in some shorts and a tank top. She looked so beautiful after practice. Her hair was in a ponytail and there was a bow tied to it.

"Um Liam you ready to go?" turns out I have been checking her out.

"Yes let's go" I held her hand absent minded.

She looked down at our hands and back up to me. I thought maybe I made her feel uncomfortable. She removed her hands away from me. I frowned a bit. She readjusted her bag on her shoulders, she took my arm and she placed it on her waist. She smiled at me and we walked to the ice cream shop.

We had been outside eating on the bench. We laughed along, talked about ourselves and everything. I had placed some ice cream on her face. She took her cone and smashed it to my cheek. We laughed even more together. After we ate ice cream I walked her home. We had stopped right in front of her house.

"Thank you so much for today!" she said.

"No problem" I gave her a hug. And she returned it.

"Bye Liam" she waved.

"Bye Alexa" I turned on my heels and was ready to leave. She called my name and I turned back. She placed a kiss on my cheek and then made her way to the front door. I watched her go in.

I felt so proud of myself! Well done Liam! I mentally high fived myself. I headed back home with a smile plastered on my face.
