Chapter 10

*Lacey POV*

When I arrived at school I went to sit near the stairs. Tony, Jake and I waited for the rest of the gang to come. I kept thinking about Louis, I don’t know why but he kept popping up in my head. I remember when we went for frozen yogurt and how much fun we had. Then when I found him in my bed and he had thought it was his fault about my eyes. I loved him as a friend, but I remember what my sisters said. I knew I could keep this a secret. I just had to!

“So um Lacey, what’s between you and that Louis kid?” Jake asked. He scratched the back of his neck and looked down at his feet.

“Nothing, we are just friends. He is really nice though!” I smiled at the thought of Louis.

“Oh ok, I was just asking” Jake said. He went back to looking at his feet like they were the best thing he had ever seen.

“Here comes the girls, and they are screaming?” tony asked confused,

“OMG I AM SO HAPPY!” screamed sierra.

“What going on with you guys?” I asked

“The one direction update! They said that since they will be staying here in California for a while. Simon Cowell is planning on enrolling them into this school.” Ally explained. I can’t believe it I live with them and they didn’t even tell me. I was really mad; oh I’m busting them on this.

“Are you serious?!” Jake yelled and through his hands in the air.

“What’s up with you?” asked Emma.

“As you can see Jake is jeal-“tony was cut off by Jake who hit him in the stomach.

“Shut up!” Jake yelled.

“OK I’m going to head to class. Now if anyone wants to join without YELLING then you may come” I said. They all looked at each other and walked with me.

When we walked into class we had a substitute. Her name was Mrs. Robertson. She told the class to get in our seats. I sat down and waited for everyone to be seated. Mrs. Robertson said we have a vocabulary quiz. I was the first to finish. I got up and handed my paper in. I heard Jake cough out the word nerd. After the whole class finished Jake was the last one. As he turned his in I coughed the word out dummy. He smirked and started playing with my hair. I slapped his hand away and he winced in pain. He knew how much I hated when people just play with my hair for no reason. He knew he was annoying me; I rolled my eyes and scooted my desk up a bit. While the class sat in silence, the bell rang. Everyone shot up and made their way to their next class.

I went to my locker and put all my books in. my last class was gym. I love gym so much. Today we are playing volleyball and I know my team will win. I walked in and everyone was stretching. I got up and grabbed the volleyball. I started warming up and bumped the ball. The whistle blew which meant get into teams. We got lucky; all of my friends were on my team.  Jake, Tony, and me were in the back while Emma, sierra, and Ally were in the front. As we played Jake dived for the ball, Ally set the ball and I jumped and spiked. Our team won! It wasn’t really much of a surprise.

After gym, we all headed to the vending machine. We each bought a bag of skittles. We then went for the benches inside the schools courtyard. We talked for a bit until the bell rang. We all walked with each other back to our apartments. We all went into our separate directions. I headed towards the elevator and made my way up. When I got up, I went straight for the music room. I decided to chill out a bit. I saw the bookshelf was moved out of place. My eyes widen and my jaw dropped. Oh no!
