I woke up in the morning feeling happy. I got up and did my usual morning routine.  After that I went straight to my music room. No one knows about the music room except Cassidy and Johnny. They helped moving all my instruments and music accessories. The best part was that I had a mini studio where I recorded songs. I had a couch, a TV, a mini fridge, and everything.  When you have a rich step mother you have to take advantage of it.

I went straight to my guitar and started strumming out my feelings to it. I was happy that I had started to get carried away with it. Then I remembered that today was Friday and school was starting in ten minutes. I ran straight out of the music room and headed down to my room. I grabbed my backpack and made my way out the door. I couldn’t make it even if I ran. Then an idea had popped inside my brain.

I grabbed my skate board and started skating all the way down the street. I finally saw the school doors they were closing. I went straight to the ramp and slipped in still riding my skateboard. I suddenly felt someone ones hand grabbing my arm. Busted! When I looked up it was Jake. A felt relieved it was him.

“Slow down Tony Hawk.” Jake said.

“You know at first you scared me, I thought you were a teacher.” He started to chuckle a bit.

“Well we better to class before we get into trouble and I don’t think you want to make that mistake again.” He said. At first he sounded like a teacher threatened me but I noticed he started smiling at me so I knew he wasn’t that serious.

We walked into class and we did bell work. I usually hate bell work but when its math I really wouldn’t care. I felt like there were eyes on me and then I looked back and it was Jake. I gave him a look and he started laughing at me. Either there is something on my face or he is just on drugs.

“Can I help you?” I asked.

“Is your hair naturally straight?” he asked. For some odd reason I had a feeling he was playing dumb. He has known me since pre-k; he was one of my close friends. He practically knew everything about me.

“I think your naturally stupid!” I snapped.  He laughed so hard that the teacher glared at us.

“So are you going to the skate park? You might get some extra tips plus the shift will be longer and you can earn some money.” Jake said.

“I can’t, at first I was grounded but tonight they are leaving so I could have gone but then again Cassidy and Johnny said that we are celebrating and I think we are have company?” I said. Then I remembered I really didn’t know who was coming. I was kind of curious. Why am I so curious about everything? Ugh.

“You done getting lost in your thoughts?” asked Jake.

I snapped back into reality. My cheeks got red. Wait why were my cheeks getting red? I swear I sometimes confuse myself for the most of the stupidest reasons.

“I will see you Monday ok?” I asked Jake.

“Ok see ya Lace” he said he hugged me and then left.

I loved my nickname Jake had given me. He was the first person to call me that and I never forget the day he named me that.

After school, I decided to head to Sugar and Spice Café. I loved that café, they had everything I loved. I got a pom-berry smoothie with some whip cream on top. Delicious! I then walked home.

I saw a lot of cameras outside and as soon as I started to the lobby, cameras were flashing everywhere. I couldn’t see anything; I had a feeling I was going to be blind soon. I took the elevator and had it take me straight to my room. My eyes were hurting so much. I put my stuff in my closet and put some white cotton shorts on and my Los Angeles Lakers sweat shirt. I then lay on my bed and decided I should take a nap.
