Chapter 31

 *Louis POV*

 I had been so happy about me and Lacey. I feel like everything feels right. Although, Lacey hasn’t been feeling good, Now that we are dating she hasn’t gone to school, I wanted to know what’s up with her but I don’t want to push her. I decided that I was going to talk to her privately at home.

 I walked in the kitchen to find Liam smiling like an idiot. Oh wait that’s his ‘I’m in love’ face. Whoops! I sat next to him and looked over at his phone. It was a girl named Alexa. Oh I know her! She sits behind me in science. Liam looked up at me and sighed.

 “So this is the girl you were talking to. I see you finally got her name.” I laughed.

 “Well yea but we hung out and she kissed my cheek.” Liam blushed.

 “Aw! Liam is finally getting a girl, it’s about time!” I yelled.

 “I already got the girl” he retorted.

 “Whatever, anyways I’m going up to see Lacey” I left the kitchen and went up into the music room. I knew she would be in there.

 As I walked up I heard crying. Then whimpers, and then glass breaking. Wait glass breaking that’s not good. I picked up my pace and tripped on a couple of steps but managed to get up in one piece. I looked down on the floor and saw pieces of glass; I saw Lacey crawled up in a corner crying. I crouched down near her and stroked her hair.

 “Um is everything all right?” 

 “No! I am so dead!”

 “What are you talking about?” I sat closer to her and sat her in my lap. I wiped her tears from her eyes and looked up at them.

“My step sisters are coming. They heard the news about me and you. So did my step mom. I am so dead.” She looked so upset.

 “We will handle it, okay?” she looked up at me and smiled.

 “Promise me that whatever my step sisters do it won’t get in the way of our relationship”

 “I promise, don’t worry I love you way too much to let you go!”

 She blushed and looked down. I lifted up her chin with my two fingers, our eyes locked with each other. I placed a gentle kiss on her lips and pulled her into my chest. I stroked her hair and hummed random songs into her hair.
