"Damn man so she got into a fight?!? Mannnn I didn't know she could be like that." I stared out the window as Jerell kept talking. Staring at the skyline I thought about our conversation on the phone. Who knew I would have feelings for the person whose getting me out of deep mess. Her smile made me blush. Her voice was like angels falling from the sky. Her body was perfect. "Aye man you there?" I snapped out of my thoughts. Jerell looked at me with a sly look. I see you thinking about her." How would he know? I thought to myself. Jerell laughed. "Your body language tells all. You have feelings for her." I looked down. "Yeah I do. I just don't know if she'll accept my occupation." Jerell looked at me. "Well bruh, sometimes you gotta let people know. She may not like it but... She will have to accept it." I shook my head indicating that I understood. "Like this time ain't the time to be telling her about being a drug dealer though. I'm trying to steer away from these charges not add to them." "Well you're right. But at least do it in private; like at her place or as y'all build up y'all relationship you can invite her over and tell her." "I understand you. Just hope she can take it." Jerell understood where I was coming from. In the past I would have girls asking me what I do but I couldn't tell them. When I did, they didn't like it. They thought it wasn't perfect like they thought when they saw a guy like me. This is why I was skeptical of dating. "Well we'll see how this play out." said Jerell.
Hours later I was back at home. Heading to my apartment, I smelt a strong scent of weed. Walking closer I noticed it came from the apartment. I unlocked the door to see Daniel and 4 other guys smoking the strongest pack I've ever smelt. The scent was so strong that it would take days for it to leave. Also coming in was the Lisa and 3 other females. They was all coming in from upstairs. As I closed the door I stared at the scene. "Oh hey Dom." Lisa sat down on Daniel's lap while he was still hitting the blunt. "OOH Dom looking pretty cute today." Laronda, Lisa's friend who I have seen many times, echoed through the room. Looking at Daniel furious. He laughed. "Man my niggah lighten up. We just havin' fun." The sentence "we just havin' fun" echoed loudly in my head. The sound of that made me boil inside. "THE FUCK YOU MEAN "JUST HAVIN' FUN"! You act like you pay the rent but you don't! You just live here! Clean all this shit up man and get these people out my apartment." Daniel just stood there. "Babe you gonna let him talk to you like that? Wouldn't be me." I looked over at Lisa. She gave me a scowling look. "You the last to talk cause you live here for free!!" Daniel then stood up. "Everybody get out." The guys who was sitting looked at him. Lisa and Laronda and their two friends looked at him. "EVERYBODY GET OUT NOW!" The guys rushed out packing everything. As for Laronda and the other two girls, they quietly left. He looked towards Lisa. "Go upstairs." She did what he said.
One on One.
"What you gonna do? I do whatever the hell I want. I pay the rent." In a split second I was punched in the jaw. I looked up at Daniel on the floor. "So you're superior now?" I got up and uppercut him. Kicking and punching him. Getting up, Daniel tackled me. Crashing into the floor , we broke the wooden table that my father built me. With Daniel's strength, it was hard getting him off of me. With a single kick, I pushed him off. Pushing him into the side lamp. Lisa came running downstairs. "The hell is going on!!" Hearing the doorbell ring, she went to open it. Me and Daniel stopped. "Who is this?" I turned around to see Felisa. Lisa looked at her funny. "She's my lawyer." She looked at me shocked. "Dom what happened to you?" I looked at Daniel being helped up by Lisa. Ounce he was up he charged for me. I kicked him slipping back onto the floor. "Oh my god. What the hell happened?" "Well let's just say someone's getting ready to move out. That person is me." "You can't do that ass. The apartment is in YOUR name." "I can change it. Unless you get out." "I'm not moving anywhere." "Well get ready to pay $1500 a month. Unless you downsize."" Daniel stared at me. He knew he was wrong so he faced it. "You know what, let's go. " Daniel got his thing a long with Lisa's and left.
