Good ones go, if you wait too long.

"So you telling me you are going to work with him for the next few months?" I sat on the couch skyping with Dev and Marcus. "Well yes. He kissed my hand." I blushed at the thought of him. Never that a guy kissed my hand so quickly on the first day. Dev giggled at the way I smiled. "Girl! Stop all that blushing! You just met him!" "I can't help my self ok! He is just too sexy." Marcus cleared his throat after coming from the bathroom. "Ok. Where is the details about this Dominic guy?" Marcus was the type he always wanted details before one of us dated someone.

"All we know he is fine Marcus. Give him some slack." Marcus gave Dev a devilish glare on camera. "Guys he's coming to the firm Monday. We have an appointment. Perhaps around; 12. 12:30." "Seems good. I'll be waiting." I crossed my arms to show Marcus how serious I was. "Marcus just stop. Give the guy some slack." I nodded at what Dev was saying.

"Well it's time to hang it up for the night! Bye you guys I'm hitting the sack! Kisses loves." They both said goodbye in a harmony. After shutting down my computer, I thought to myself. Should I even pursue him? Or should I just help him and be friends? Or maybe start off as friends? I stood up and turned on my beats pill. I played Regina Bell as I opened the doors to my balcony. I looked at the Atlanta skyline. I was in love with it. This made me think of Dominic. He was a good looking guy. He made me feel like I was the only person in the world. As for this time, I might at well start off as friends with him.

Falisa this will be hard.

I woke up Sunday morning refreshed. I got out of my silk lingerie and took a shower.

After I got into some fresh clothes and started cooking breakfast, I checked for any new messages. I scrolled on my phone to find that there was a text from Dominic. ' Good Morning Ms. Jackson' it read. I texted him back saying the same thing and soon got a text saying he needed help. I looked at the text. I closed the app and then called him. The phone rang about 3 times until he answered. "Hello?" His husky deep voice that came through the line made me tingle. "Oh hello Dominic. This is Falisa." He soon recognized who I was. "Oh hello I need your help. It was so happened I wanted to know when was the first payment." I sighed in the moment of relief. "Well Dominic it matters if you win or not is when you pay me. Now you do have a fee that you have to pay." He laughed a little "Oh snap I forgot the fee. Please forgive me." I giggled at his expression. "It's fine. The fee is due December 13th. So you have some time since we got court appearances." I heard a sigh through the phone as I waited for an answer. "I got to go. Bye." He soon hung up.

"What an ass!" Dev said as we headed over to Marcus house for lunch. "I guess since I mentioned about court he got depressed or some. I guess he got irritated." Dev looked at me; giving me a "are you serious" look. "Girl no guy should get irritated over that. He should man up!" I laughed at how she said it. "Well he is still working with you. Is he?" I looked out the window. Marcus had sent us a limo since where we lived was far out from him. Dev nudged me. "Helloooo? My answer?" I cleared my throat. "I guess so. We haven't talked since this morning." Dev nodded. She soon turned around and looked out the window. After another 25 minutes sitting in the limo, We was at Marcus's house. It was more so like a modern home. But for the plus side, it was more like a mansion than a standard size home. Downside is, it was far out. As the limo turned into the driveway, me and Dev started to get our things. "It really took the driver a minute to get here." Dev said as we we came to a stop. We got out the limo and headed to the front doors. The butler who was standing at the door great us.

Walking into the house, there was other people conversing and sipping on champagne. Looking around, there was football players, co-workers, and other lawyers there. Standing in the corner we saw Marcus and Chyna. " Y'all made it! Thanks for coming!" Marcus gave both of us hugs as we headed inside.
