I layed on the lounger near the window listening to Jhene Aiko. You may notice I'm very fond of music. I started thinking about Dominic. His lips, his eyes, his body, and his voice was all in my mind. I looked out the window. The cool fall breeze started to seep in as I got up to close the window. Today was a good day.

I got up the next morning and took a bath. I felt refreshed and ready to get this long day started. I looked at my phone. I scroll on the screen to see a lot of text messages. Some came from old clients, few was from my two best friends, one from Jerry and the last three from Dominic. I smiled at the fact that he thinks about me. I unlocked my phone and looked at the text message.
" D: Wake up and be thankful for a new day. The eyes that I see are the eyes I find to be beautiful. Felisa will you go out with me tonight?"
I smiled and then replied to the message.
"F: Of course! Don't forget to come by the office today. I noticed your leg healed up enough for you to walk on it."
I smiled putting on my clothes then heading out the door with my things.

Heading inside the office, I greeted my secretary and headed to my office. On my way I passed by Jerry's office. His office was only a couple of doors down from mine. I looked in and noticed Dev talking to him. Dev waved at me while she was talking and Jerry turned around and waved. "Hey Felisa." He called my name as I was walking. I turned around. "Dominic is already in the office." He said. I smiled . "Thanks for letting me know." I turned and walked to the office. I looked through the window and saw Dominic on the phone. He looked like he was pissed. I slowly walked in and that's when he turned around. "Aye I'll call you later about it. Ok bye." He soon got up to greet me. "Good morning." He smiled and gave me a hug. I wonder what was that about? I thought to myself. "Well good morning to you too." I gave him a flashy smile. I walked over to my desk and sat down.
I pulled out the folders and got down to business. "Alright so there is no further evidence as of now." I looked up at him to see him looking at his phone. I started to get a bit upset. What I find very rude is when you're on your phone while I'm talking or while I'm trying to explain something. I just stared at him. Waiting. He looked and smiled a bit. "I'm sorry about that." He gave me a smirk. My expression changed a bit. I tried not to smile but I couldn't help it. "Do you mind to put it away and on silent." Thinking he might ignore what I said he put it on silent and put it back in his pocket. I was stunned at the fact he did what I said.
"Now back to business."
Two hours later we was out on a lunch date. Who knew time could go by so fast. We looked over some files and then cut to the chase about the case. The only thing about Dom was I didn't know his job. He says he's a business owner of his own company... Bullshit. Dom was too much of.. To be honest, I don't know much. But him owning his own business does not seem like him. I felt that there is something he's hiding and I wanted to find out. This certain urge in my heart is telling me to find out about him and tell him to stop it. Both my heart and my mind is telling me to... love him.
Sitting in the restaurant I looked out the window. Sitting in the posh like booth Dominic got my attention. "You look good today. Well, everyday." I smiled at his comment. "Thank you. You look handsome everyday yourself." I could tell he was blushing. Today Dom was wearing a fitted sweater. His muscles shown nicely. He looked very sexy in that shirt. Usually he would wear a suit but today we decided to go casual. The waitress walked over to take out orders. "Well well. Dominic Murdoch. Never thought I would see you again since that party." Dominic looked down in a heartbeat. What she was wearing was a very revealing outfit. The shirt was tight and had her breasts poking out and the skirt was mini. I thought waitresses was supposed to dress more modest than sluttish. "I'm sorry but can you take our orders than go to a flashback?" I looked at Dom. It was burning a hole into him cause he could feel me staring at him. "Oh really? Not until you explain to me why you didn't want to take me back to your place. And I think you know my sister who you sold that special to her last week. She told me you turned her down when she tried to get a hold to you." Dom started to get angry. I looked at the both of them and cut my eyes back over to the whore you call a waitress. That's when I spoke up. "Ok baby girl stop. Just stop. You are part of the past now. Right now just not the time. Please leave." She looked at me with a sly look. "Uh who asked you? And who is this anyway? A wanna be nobody?" Me being the type person I am I try not to go off in public. But with a person like her she really can get hit. "A wanna be nobody? Honey I'm one of the biggest lawyers in Atlanta. GET IT RIGHT!" She looked at me like I just hit her with a punch. My words hurt more than my hits. "I'm going to get us a new waiter."
After several minutes of asking we didn't get a new waiter. So me and Dom decided to leave. Neither him or myself had the time for that.
"So you telling me the day didn't go so well?" Me, Marcus and Dev was at our dinner table waiting for our food to come. "YES! First he was on his phone then some chick in the restaurant he took me to was our waitress was over here like 'you didn't want to get with my sister' and so on." Marcus looked over at me. "Oh hell no! Felisa I woudn't stand for that." I nodded. "You are right and he did apologize for that. He said he promised to take me out Saturday." "Be wary of it honey." Dev said. Looking over I saw Dominic walked in. He was carrying a brief case. "What is he doing here?" Dev asked. "I don't know. Good question though." He walked over to a table where one guy was sitting. He sat down. I studied his body language. A waiter walked and asked him for something to drink. It was weird of me staring but I was curious. As I was looking, the waiter set down our food. He was talking to the guy. The waiter brung back a glass of scotch for him. I looked away and started eating.
"Talking about looking hard." Marcus said.
"Sorry you guys I'm just curious. What he's so busy about." I'm not gonna lie I know I was doing a bit much. After a good 10 minutes I had both Marcus and Dev looking at me. He all was eating and looking. I studied him. He looked perfect in his suit. Wearing all black with a his favorite color tie. I started going up to his face. He looked beyond sexy. Low cut, a little chin hair, and a perfect ass jaw line. His dark brown eyes looked focused. I bit my lip on how he smiled. That was a turn-on. For the guy he was talking to he looked a bit heavy set. He had a fur coat on and a cigar in his hand. He had slicked backed black hair. He also had gold rings around his fingers. Including a midi ring. "Helloo Ms. Jackson stop getting into a daze and look." I looked and saw him pulling out his case. He pulled out a brown envelope. He slid it over to him. I looked at his face. Dominic looked determined. The guy reached for the envelope and soon reached into his pocket and took out a stack of cash. He slid it over to Dom. Marcus nudged me. "Jesus this man rich! Y'all see this?!!?" "Yes of course!" Dev said. My eyes widen. I didn't know Dom makes this much money everyday. I guess his entrepreneur business is real.
We studied him more. Dominic put the money and his pocket. He shook the man's hand and then got up. "What you think he was selling?" I looked back over. "That's a good question." I soon started to noticed that he was walking toward our way to leave. "SHIT SHIT LOOK NORMAL!" I whispered. We all pretended that was having a good time. I sensed he was coming and soon felt him standing by me. "Hey I didn't know you was here!" He hugged me. He then whispered into my ear. "I'm gonna call you tonight ok?" I smiled then nodded. I started to blush real hard. "Nice seeing y'all.' He soon walked away. "What did he say?" They asked. "He said he was gonna call me tonight." Both of them said 'oooh'. "Hmmm? Guys lets have a sleepover at my place." I said. Both of them agreed. Who knew my two best friends would be down for this. After we payed the check we head back to my place. Lucky for Dev, Marcus, and myself we keep spare clothes at each other houses.
