I looked at my phone. Waiting. Desperate for an answer. "Maybe he's sleep?" Dev said. I sighed. The frustration was real. "Girl he might just read. You know how men are." I looked over at Jamarcus. I gave him frustrated look.

"Okay maybe not. But he taking hella long to respond." I shook my head. My heart hurts. I was turned on and was throbbing but a suspicious phone call ruined it. I heard Jerry's voice. Something wasn't right. a so called 'package'. It was time to do some investigating. "I need to go deeper into this case. We need to interview people and as for him we gotta talk to many people that know him." Dev and Jamarcus agreed to the plan. "Hey maybe we'll be able to crack this case." Dev said. I nodded. Soon I heard my phone ring. I looked over to see it was a text from Dom. I rushed to my phone in a heartbeat.

Quickly grabbing my phone I swiped to the left and unlocked it.

"Listen, there's nothing going on. It's been a lot and I had to handle money with Jerry. I know how you don't like secrets and I'm not hiding anything. I'm sorry I left on such short notice. I'll make it up to you baby. I love you, and I always want you to know that."

I stared at the text. My gut feeling was telling me that something still was not right. I could trust Dom. But something in his blood wasn't clean. It was something that was bothering me. It was time to do some investigating. Before I got into my deep thoughts, Jamarcus snapped me out. "Jesus how many time he's going to say that making up to you shit. I can't deal." I looked at him. "Lisa you're my sister and I know you love him and he seems like a great guy. But we gotta figure out what he's hiding." I felt a wave of emotions come over me. I felt tear steaming down my face. I plopped on the couch.

"Have you ever just felt a deep love for someone? Like a bond that you've always wanted in your life? Dom is the person who I got that bond with. He's like a person I know I can tell my deepest secrets and he won't tell anyone. But I'm afraid. I'm afraid that he's hiding something big. Something he can't get out of. I don't want to loose him. Shit, our lives are already in danger cause of the explosion. I don't want to be stuck in a situation I can't get out of." I sobbed. The way my emotions took over me was overwhelming. I had a deep connection for Dom. His personality, his eyes, his body, and even his soul. Jamarcus came and hugged me. Dev walked over and did the same.

"Everything is going to be okay. Just go get some rest. Your blood pressure needs to stay down." Dev said. I nodded. I needed to collect my thoughts. I was determined to figure out what Dom was hiding.

The next morning I was awaken by the smell of a hearty breakfast. I walked down the hall to my kitchen. The smell drew closer as I saw Dev and Jamarcus sitting at the table. "Good Morning sleepy head." Dev said. Her and Jamarcus was giving each other sly looks. Before I could enter my kitchen I had an dining room near it. "Who's cooking the breakfast?" I asked. Dev and Jamarcus looked at each other. I gave them a daring glare. "Well we sort of hired a chef... But them again he just came." I sighed. "You guys can't let random people in my apartment. They could do anything to harm us."

"Well this person is not going to hurt any of you." I looked over at the doorway. Standing was the tall person I fell in love with. He was dressed casually. A simple long sleeve tee shirt and jeans. You could easily see his muscle built arms. I stared at him. It was the only thing I could do. He walked towards me. He pulled me close to his body. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him. Tears swelled up in my eyes. He hugged me tightly. "I feel complete now." He said. I smiled up at him. My emotions towards him were fairly strong. "Who let you in? I don't remember giving you a key yet." Dom pointed to the main two. "I figured. These two always be the ones up to some type of shit." Dev and Jamarcus burst into laughter. "And you know it. We're your best friends. We know you better than no other." I nodded at what Jamarcus said. He was right. They are the people who know my life story. Besides my mother, they know every secret.
