(Rain’s P.O.V)
My eyes stay shut as a gust of cold wet rain surrounds us. Before we hit the concrete street below Suki lands perfectly on her feet. As my eyes are fully shut I have another vision.
(Rain’s vision)
Layla is sitting in an office when suddenly a little kid comes in;
“Mom?” the boy asks looking down at his feet “why is dad gone again?”
Layla gets up from her seat picking the boy up who only looks about 6 years old “because Liam your dad is helping your uncle and your grandpa solve a case”
“Dad said he was going to teach me how to become a detective like him”
Layla huffs putting they boy down “I’ll talk to him just- go play with the other children until he gets home”
Liam walks off.
Then suddenly Layla grabs at her chest that is right above her heart. She falls to the ground.
Dead.
