The princess and the fighter ( Weiss Schnee x Male Reader)

Part 23

-John Pov-

I sit with Yang in Junior's Bar. He sits on the ground groaning, and icing his balls. Yang told me about this club, and I just had to go with her. Granted, I wasn't prepared to have to fight his entire security team to come in, but it had been fun. I love fighting side by side with Yang. We work so well together, maybe because our Semblances work a lot like each other, the only difference is that hers uses fire instead of lightning. But still, it's nice to have someone watching my back at all times in a fight.

She turns to Junior, and asks him for a Strawberry Sunrise, stating she wants an umbrella in it as well. He just groans, and sits in a pool of beer and self-pity. " You still have one nut," I tell him. " If you don't make this for us, then who knows what happens to that one?" Groaning, he rises to his feet, and goes to pour our drinks.

Yang smiles, and then turns to me. We talk for awhile, making jokes and puns and just talking about everything that has happened to us of late. Fishing through my pocket, I hand her a Lien. She takes it, and stuffs it into the tip bin for Junior. " Thank you," she says to me. " And, I told you so. I knew (y/n) and Weiss would be a couple sooner than Ren and Nora."

I playfully roll my eyes at her. " Well, I just thought that Ren and Nora have been with each for years. You figure one of them would confess to each other already," I point out, and then she nods.

" Yeah, but I just new that there was something going on between (y/n) and Weiss. Anyone who can get away with calling her ' Weiss Cream' has to have a chance with her. When I tried it as a joke, she threw a book at me."

We sit there laughing about the antics of our team. " And besides," she says. " Both of her necklaces are from him. She takes such good care of them. Doesn't let anyone else touch them."

After awhile, I turn to Yang. " Hey, speaking of couple. Do you want to make whatever this is official? You and me, boyfriend and girlfriend." Even though she and I have been doing this for awhile, I still get slightly nervous at what she might say. However, her eyes widen with joy, and she pulls me into a hug.

" Of course! John, I've been waiting for you to ask me! And if you didn't, I was going to!" She punches me playfully on the arm. " That's for making me wait for so long," she says jokingly. I rub where she hit me, pretending it hurt me.

" And then, do you wanna go to the dance with me," I ask her. She smiles again, and says she was about to ask me. Getting happy, she and I stop a few drinks in. She gestures outside, and sits down on her motorcycle. I get behind her, and wrap my arms around her waist. Together, she and I drive into the night, enjoying the company of the other more than anything else.

-Your Pov-

You and Leliana sit in your dorms, and both get a text from John, saying he and Yang are a couple and that they're going to the dance together. She turns to you. " Well. Looks like you and I need to get dates. When are you going to ask Weiss?"

Smiling, you go and find something. " I had my mom sent this to me. My mom held onto this for years. This is the poster from when I asked Weiss to the elementary school dance. I was going to use this, seeing as how it worked the first time."

The poster has been kept in almost perfect condition, your mom insisting. Even in your anger, she didn't let you simply destroy it. And you appreciated her for it. The poster was decorated with a polar bear holding an ice cream cone, and making begging eyes. A little speech bubble connected to him saying, ' Weiss Cream, will you be my date?'

Leliana laughs when she sees it. " Oh, Oum. That is the cutest thing I have seen in my entire life." You blush, and try to deny it. But, Leliana just smiles at you. " I'm serious. That's adorable, and I don't mean it in a teasing way. You really love her, don't you? Even back then?"

You smile, and begin to see Leliana as the older sister you never had. " Yeah," you tell her. " I can't imagine my life without Weiss. She's just the absolute best. The bright spot in my life. I missed her every single day. And now, I'm so glad she's back in my life. And this time, I don't wanna let anything tear us apart."

Leliana smiles. " Well, I texted Ruby. Right now, it's just Weiss and Ruby in the dorms. I can give Ruby some reason to come over and hang out with me if you want to ask Weiss right now." You nod at Leliana, and she rights a text to Ruby. Eventually, the door opens, and Ruby walks in to spend time with Leliana.

Thanking her, you go over to the dorm of RWBY. Taking a deep breath, you knock on the door. Weiss opens it, and stands in the pajamas. Even now, both of the necklaces dangle from her neck. And even now, she is the most beautiful girl in the world. Holding up the poster, her eyes widen in shock and disbelieve. " Weiss Cream, will you be my date," you say, mimicking the polar bear on the poster.

She nods, and throws her arms around you. After holding it for awhile, she pushes away. Nervously, she stands on her tiptoes, and then gives you a kiss on the forehead.
