Part 55

-Your Pov-

You're thrown in your chains down onto the seat, and then Weiss and everyone else sits down gently in their chairs, which makes you roll your eyes. Weiss and Yang begin to have a conversation with their eyes, and you turn to John, and then scoff with disbelief when you see that he only has handcuffs on. " What the hell is this," you demand Raven angrily. " Why is everyone either handcuffed or running around without bindings, and I'm hogtied with chains?"

She doesn't say anything, and then she turns to look at Yang, and the two of them try to read the facial features of the other. " That was definitely a rhetorical question," you muttered to yourself, and then John laughs when he sees your situation. " What the hell is so funny?"

" Sucks to suck doesn't it," he says jokingly, and then he hesitates for a few moments before you can see his facial features softening as he becomes more serious to see you again after such a long time. " How are you (y/n)?"

" I'm good," you tell him, and then he nods. " Except for these stupid chains!" He laughs at this, and then complains about his handcuffs for a little bit. The two of you talk and get caught up for awhile, and then Raven clears her throat and the two of you look over at her.

She then begins to talk with Yang, and tells a story that just has to be made up, and then a whole series of lies about Raven. When she finishes the story of why she left Yang, John stands up angrily, lightning flying from him. " You left your daughter for that," he asks angrily. " To fight some great evil? And there was no possible way you could have visited her?"

Yang's arm begins to enter tremors at his outburst, and then John reaches for her arm, but Weiss manages to reach it first, and the two of them both hold onto her arm and help her calm down. Raven manages a small smile when she sees this. " I had a good reason for it," she repeats.

Flames dance from you and start to slowly melt the chains around you. " I've had enough of neglectful parents who all say they had a reason for it," you tell her, and then Weiss looks down at you, knowing what you mean. " If you were her mother, then there's never a good reason for you to have left."

When you say this, she ignores you, and then begins to continue talking to Yang, explaining more about the bandit tribe, and then telling a series of stories about why Ozpin isn't trustworthy, and then Yang nods at this, and then asks to be taken to her uncle and sister. Raven sighs at this, an then makes one final offer. " If you come with me, I can explain everything you want right away. If you go to Qrow and Ruby, you may have to wait for an explanation, which he may never give you."

" I trust him more than you by this point," she says, and then Raven looks genuinely saddened. But, she nods after a little bit, and then she opens a red portal. She then goes around has her followers start to undo the bindings on everyone else. You smile happily when the girl with the pixie cut burns her hand on the chains you've heated up. She curses and then undoes your chains.

Before you stop through the portal, you notice that she still has both you and Weiss's weapons. You ask for them back and then she childishly insists on keeping them, and you roll your eyes and then Raven steps in. " Vernal, give those back," she says, and then Vernal reluctantly hands you your weapons back.

You allow yourself to be somewhat childish as you snatch it from her hands, and then she glares at you. Weiss takes her weapon back and then the two of you go to step through the portal. As you go through the portal you grab onto her hand, and then the two of you step through. On the other side, you smile when you see the confused reactions of all of your other friends.

You watch as John smiles as Yang and Ruby have a hug, and then you look down to see Weiss with sad smile on her face, clearly wishing her relationship with either of her siblings was like that, and then you place a hand on her shoulder and tell her to look up, and then they see that Ruby and Yang have made room for her to join the hug.

Her face breaks into a smile, and then she runs into the hug, and then three of them hold onto each other, all on the verge of happy tears. While this is happening, you see Gideon, Velvet and Leliana coming out to investigate the source of the noise, and then their eyes widen when they see you, and then they run over to hug you.

Eventually, all of you are in a big group hug, and crying happy tears. All of the memories and stress worrying about each other are finally gone, and you know the others are here. With your arms around the others, you don't have to be worry at all about where the others are, the things they've been through. The only one missing from this is Blake, but you know that nothing will keep her away from the fight.

Reluctantly, all of you pull away from each other and then look at each other, and take the time to hold back your tears, and then you all go to sit down in a big group. A comfortable silence fills all of you, and then Qrow comes into the room with a small boy, and then Qrow sits down with you. " It's time I told you everything," he says, and then sighs, and pulls out a flask before starting to explain
