The princess and the fighter ( Weiss Schnee x Male Reader)

Part 51

-Gideon Pov-

 I sit on the airship with Velvet, and she and I go through her camera together. At first, we start going over the pictures of the weapons she has as she explains to me how her Semblance works. And then, she and I simply start to go over the pictures of all of us back at Beacon, and then they all make me smile a bit sadly at the memories. Those easy days seem so long ago. I remember Leliana and I being the oldest members of our team, and giving older brother/sister advice and teasing. I remember having to try and talk John out of some stupid pranks and ideas from time to time, and then I also remember having to drag him off of Yang when the two of them began their displays of affection. I remember (y/n) being happy all the time, and training with me, and I also remember him and Weiss both trying to be more formal in public, however still loving each other, almost being tsundere for each other. And then, I remember the times I would spend with Velvet and Team CFVY, Fox and Yatsu threatening me, and then Coco whispering something into Velvet's ears, which would make the girl flush red.

As I think all of this, the pilot begins to curse frantically, causing me and Velvet to look at each other, and than at him in confusion. He points outside the window, and then we look out to see four people fighting a Grimm. I narrow my eyes, and then look down to see who it is. the red blur that Ruby turns into when she uses her speed. The green cyclone Ren practically becomes when he spins with his blades. The blasts that fire from Nora's hammer, and then of course the precision shooting that Leliana is capable of.

" I have to take us back around," says the pilot. " I'm sorry. We won't charge you anything for the flights, but this area is unsafe to enter." He says this, and then Velvet and I look back and forth between each other, and then we nod and stand up. The pilot looks at us, wondering what the hell she and I are planning.

" Put us down here," we tell him, and then he begins to say he's not legally allowed to, but then he just sighs when Velvet makes begging eyes at him. He curses, and then sets down the airship. Quickly, we thank him and then hop off the airship and then he quickly pulls away after I hear him mutter something about how Velvet and I are crazy.

The Grimm outstretches it's arm to grab onto Ren, and then I fire a blast. It doesn't seem to affect the Grimm at all, but it does get the attention of it, and it turns to me. It starts to lumber for me, and then Velvet smacks it with a copy of Sun's staff, and then it flies back. As the Grimm is in the air, Ruby jumps down and uses a burst of speed in mid-air to cut the Grimm. She smiles when she sees me and Velvet, and then quickly explains to us the powers the Grimm seems to have, the connection it has to Ren, and everything else she knows about it, which isn't much.

The Nuckelavee charges for the two of us again, and then Velvet lashes for it with a cop of (y/n)'s Zabimaru. Wrapping it around the legs of the Grimm, she pulls and then the Grimm staggers. As it does, Nora runs it to punt it with her hammer. Using all of her force, the Grimm is then sent into the air. As the Grimm flies in the air, Leliana fires a series of arrows into it. I smile when I see her, and then take the time to wave briefly, which she returns.

As the Grimm starts to land, Velvet makes a cop of Coco's minigun, and then starts to light it up, and then Nora falls in next to her, and then fires several grenades into the Grimm. All of us begin to line up, and then fire our ranged weapons into it. Eventually, we've managed to kick up a cloud of dust, and then we all change the clips for our weapons.

In the cloud of smoke, a red light appears, and then the Nuckelavee bursts out of it, and then charges for us again. It doesn't seem to be injured all that much, and if anything, all we managed to do was anger it. Turning into red smoke, I send out a shockwave which manages to make the Grimm stagger back. I return to human form above him, and then fire my shotgun into his head. It cries out in pain, and then thrashes me into a wall of a building.

The Grimm then turns to me, and then an arrow lands in the back of the neck of the Grimm. " Nice shot," I tell Leliana.

" He's going to kill me now," she says, a joking panic setting into her voice. " That was my last arrow."

" Yeah but still," I tell her, and then I rise to my feet. " Credit where it's due." Velvet hears our conversation, and then lands next to her, and uses her Semblance to create a copy of Leliana's bow and arrow. Leliana smiles when she sees this, and then begins to use the energy copies of the weapon Velvet makes for her.

I smile at the sight of this, and then turn my attention back to the fight with the Grimm. We haven't been able to do any real damage to it, only make it angry, and our explosions have kicked up good amounts of dust for dramatic moments. However, each and every attack we have at our disposal has only managed to agitate it.

Still, as Velvet hops down with Nora and they bring hammers down onto the Grimm, I can't help but feel happy at the sight of this. I've missed fighting Grimm, and I really missed the life of being a huntsman, and I missed my friends and team members.
