Chapter 19 - Sleep. Enjoy!

Aria sat on the steps in front of the main door, legs shaking with anticipation. She had no idea what the fuck she intended to happen? It isn't like he would let her pass the threshold of the doorway. But the last few days she had heard other people in the room. Loki had ushered her from the library one day into the bedroom, and just before the door had closed and magic had sealed all sounds from her, she could have sworn she heard someone greet him. Later, she had moved into the library, the same charm keeping sound out.

Someone had been here, the day before she had glanced someone enter his office. No one entered these rooms, let alone his office. Had he taken up his pleasure with someone else? He hadn't slept with her the last week, and had spent a lot of that time alone in the office. Was this a good or bad thing for her?

So her plan, sit in front of this door all day until someone entered and run passed them. Loki was away with work from morning till night, and she would sit here till he came back himself if need be. Aria had no intention of escaping right now, just getting a better awareness of her surroundings, maybe there was a better exit than the servants stairs? He would expect her to go that way upon escaping, was better to give him some options, and herself some.

She must have sat that for half the day before she heard saw the door begin to open. Hesitating, expecting it to be Loki, she was visibly shocked when a woman came bustling in with a hoover behind her.

"Oh" the woman jumped upon seeing her, before moving passed, making sure the door closed behind her. "Hello miss"

Aria just stared blankly, before finally stuttering out a hello.

"I'll be a couple hours my dear" she smiled fondly. "If you want to choose a room, I can do that one first or just leave it till last?" She offered kindly.

"How did you get in?" Aria asked, not seeing a lock on the door or even a handle, was it magic or something she could use?

"I don't think it's right for me to say" the woman rushed, before dragging the hoover up the steps and heading for the library.

"Wait no. I need your help" Aria begged, hating that she was reduced to pleading with others, but there wasn't any other option.

The woman just ignored her, eyes darting worriedly.

"You don't understand what he's done. What he can and will do to me" Aria continued.

"I'm sorry miss. It isn't possible" she woman finally winced, before turning on the hoover over her cries.

Aria darted forward, the Hoover continuing its roar as the woman's breath chocked in her throat, Aria tugged her hands behind her back as trained and pushed her back towards the main door.

"Open it" Aria ordered, but the woman just shook her head.

She felt guilty for being forceful with the staff, but it wasn't like the situation didn't call for desperate actions.

Aria took the woman wrist and threw her hand against the door, eyes widening as it cracked open.

"No stop" the woman wheezed as Aria released her and rushed forward.

Upon making connection with the edge of the doorframe, Aria was violently thrown back against the stairs, screaming in agony. The woman looked itching to help, but instead grabbed her stuff and reluctantly exited the room as Arias pained wails followed after her, as well as the door closing.

Aria felt her whole body convulse in torment, the main source from her ankle, shocking up her legs and almost electrocuting her whole frame, as tears stained her skin and nerves tightened. The screaming never ended, her mouth open in a chocked grit as her mind was lost to the torture.
