RAINDROPS

Water runs down my window,
I hug my legs tighter to feel warm,
Hoping instead of being alone I was in your arms,
I inhale and lay down,

Raindrops going down on my roof,
The sound bounce off my walls,
There was a struck of lightning,
The sound of it was freightening,

I hid under the cover,
Wishing instead it was the chest of my lover,
The atmosphere feel oh so cold,
I hugged my blanket tighter and fold,

I close my eyes,
"I'm coming home soon." He says,
I put it in my heart,
There it stays,
