Mary's POV
I was in the studio with the boys, we were all there sitting down, listening to music.
We were smoking and laughing.
Freddie walked past Roger, dropping something on his head.
"What the hell, Freddie?" He picked up the cloth, it was ladies underwear.
I laughed, covering my mouth.
"Freddie! Who's underwear is this!" Roger exclaimed, still holding them.
"Well, when you're famous and you're at a club, things tend to get... Interesting" Freddie smirked.
We all laughed, even Roger, throwing the underwear on the ground.
"God, I hope she was hot..." Roger mumbled.
"Who said anything about it being a girl?" Freddie laughed.
Roger got a disgusted look on his face, "Ewwwww..."
We all laughed at him, suddenly the phone rang.
I got out of my seat, walking towards the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Mary Austin?" A woman quickly said.
"Yes, it is.."
"We need you to come down to the London Bridge Hospital." The woman stated in a panic.
My heart started racing, "Why? What's going on?"
"Miss. Austin, we can't give you that information. But you need to get there quickly, it's of your daughter. We'll explain to you once you get there." The woman quickly said, then she hung up.
My heart started racing as I dropped the phone.
No, no, no , no , no , no no
"Mary? Are you alright?" Freddie walked towards me.
I shook my head, "Chelsea's in the hospital, I-I don't know what's going on. I.. I have to go" I started walking towards the door.
"We're coming with you!" Freddie shouted.
"Here, Brian will drive!" Freddie handed keys to Brian.
Brian groaned, "Why do I always have to drive?"
"Because you're responsible, Bri!" Freddie said.
"Come on!" I shouted.
We all ran outside to the car.
Brian started up the car, "Which hospital?"
"London Bridge Hospital" I quickly said.
Brian drove.
Oh, god. I hope my baby is alright..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We arrived at the hospital, we all ran inside.
"Hello, my name is Mary Austin. We're looking for my daughter, Chelsea Austin." I quickly said.
"She's in room 15 down the hall here" The woman said.
We all started walking, "But you can't go into that room, M'am." She said.
I stopped, "What do you mean? Why can't I see my daughter?!" I yelled.
The woman sighed, "Your daughter is in operation, we don't know how long it'll be. You can wait outside the room until operation is done."
My heart dropped, Operation?
"Oh... Alright..." The boys and I walked down the hallway.
We found door 15.
We all sat on the chairs, my foot was taping.
"Oh, god. I hope she's okay. What do you think happened to her? I mean.." I covered my face, crying.
Freddie hugged me, "Mary, I'm sure she'll be okay, darling. Just keep faith, alright?" He held onto me.
"It's all my fault" We heard a voice say, a few chairs down.
I turned my head, "Excuse me?"
She looked up at me, Sami.
"It's all my fault, Mary." She got up, walking towards me.
"I-I broke up with my boyfriend and he-he shot.." Her voice was shaky.
"Wha-"
"But she ran in front of me before the bullet hit me.. She-she told me she'd do anything for me. She said she meant that" She ran towards me, crying, hugging me.
"I'm so sorry, Mary!" She sobbed.
I rubbed her back, "No. No it's not your fault" I cried.
She nodded, "It is! It.." She couldn't speak anymore, we just cried in each others arms, waiting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We sat there for hours, asking questions, pacing around.
"Miss. Austin?" A doctor walked out the room.
I quickly stood up, walking towards him.
"Miss. Austin, do you know what happened to your daughter?" He asked.
I shook my head, "No."
"Okay. Well, Chelsea was hit by a bullet. Yes, that means she was shot. She'll be fine, fortunately it just missed her lungs. She will have to take things easy, probably not go to school for a few weeks. She'll need to change her bandage, which is around her stomach. She just needs to take things easily."
I breathed, "Thank you, doctor. When can I see my daughter?"
"You can see her now, she's resting, so try and be quiet. But you can see her now" The doctor smiled at me.
I smiled, "Thank you" I whispered.
I took a deep breath, slowly opening door 15, walking in.
I looked at Chelsea, tears started to form in my eyes.
My poor baby, she was hooked up to a machine, helping her breath. I lifted up her gown and saw the bandage, covered in blood already.
I looked at her face, she looks so peaceful. I covered my mouth, tears falling down my eyes.
Freddie hugged me, "Shh, darling.. It's alright now, she's okay."
I sniffled.
Chelsea slowly opened her eyes, I rushed to her side, holding her hand.
"Mum..?" I groaned.
"Yes, honey, I'm here." I moved her hair from her eyes.
Chelsea looked around, she tried to sit up.
"Ah!" She whispered in pain.
"Darling, you need to be careful." I helped her.
"It wasn't a dream..? I-I was actually shot?"
I sighed, "Yes, darling.. But you're okay, you're going to be okay. You just need to take it easy."
Sami ran to the other side of Chelsea, "I'm so sorry, Chels. I'm so sorry" She cried.
Chelsea chuckled a little, "It's not your fault. I jumped in front of you, if it would've hit you, you'd be dead. You're welcome."
Sami gently hugged Chelsea.
I smiled at Sami and Chelsea hugging each other.
Freddie held me, he kissed my cheek.
Friendship.. We'd do anything for friendship..
