A Tree

There were so many people around

It was choking to be with them

I came running out of the crowd

To find a pure and breathing air

In the silence, I sat by a tree

Where I wrote all the poetries

In rains, when I was in vain

The tree gave me the shade of leaves

When I had no shelter to go

It held me in its bough and twigs

I cherished it with water pours

And it loved me with blooming flowers

I was so happy being with it

Cause it was my friend not every being's

So they all came running for it

When they found me happy, cut it's twings

It didn't say a word of condemn

And happily took all the blames

They recklessly hit the iron blade

And rest just watched the show begin

My old friend was brought to a trial

Cause it brought a smile on my face

And now I seated in a church

Praying for my friend's heaven

I hear a boy ask to a man

What God does to punish our sins

The man told him of fearful hell

And miseries and suffers and jails

And when he came to me for words

I told him God to penalize your work

Just make you so stable and sweet

And forms your life into a tree...
