They left me in vain

To weep like a child

They threw me like rag

When I used to shine

I knew I was a mountain

But they had machines

They cut me in pieces

And I was frozen to oblige

But everything they threw

You always held in your arms

You made us feel belonged

You made us feel right

You gave us to walk on

You fulfilled our desires

And all what we did to you

Was slaughter and crime

When laying on the grass

I then felt you whisper

You chanted the magic

And peace to my lustre

The non-ending wanting

Which was poisoning me

You made me free of a cage

I built on my own

And today when they all have

Abandoned me back

I am happy to lay

In your gentle grace

When the sky is so high

And the moon does still glow

You'll be there to hold me

When I'm no more
