A day
I passed the gates and streets
By the river I crossed the bridges
And came finally to the tree
Below
The rising birches and leaves
The nestling on the twig
And the crimson sky above me
I wait wait wait
For my love to come
She has twinkling eyes
And twisted hairs
The softness of her fingers
Melt me down to the floor
When I look at her
Her sparkling face
And the cutest smile
That takes my sense
I stand below the tree we kissed a hundred times
Darling I'd walk right up to you
Grab you in my arms so closely
To tell you, you look beautiful every time
Darling I'd kneel down to the ground
Pick that ring out from my jeans
To tell you I fall in love when I see you every time...
