ch. 6

"Boys! Breakfast!"

Mike flew out of his room to the smell of bacon sizzling in a skillet. He ran past Billie's room at full speed but halted when a lightbulb went on in his head.

Billie was dreaming of performing onstage, a crowd roaring for him. The dream didn't make it clear as to whether he had a solo act or a band. The familiar string picking picked up in his head.

Here comes the rain again...

"BILLO ITS CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAASS!!"

A massive weight landed on top of Billie, crushing up and startling him out of his dream. He looked up at the foreign object, and his eyes adjusted on a bright pair of blue ones.

"Agh Mike! Fuck off, go suck a cock."

"C'mon Billie! Its Christmas!"

"Santa can eat my ass."

"Come on!"

Suddenly Billie was flung over Mike's shoulder.

"MIKE! PUT ME DOWN WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS THIS FAIR YOU'RE SO MUCH BIGGER THAN ME I HATE YOU I WAS SO COMFORTABL-," Billie was plopped on the couch. The smell of melted cheese and grease filled his nose and all senses of anger were immediately erased. On the their tiny tube tv in the living room (one of their only valued possessions) was Billie's favorite cartoon Goof Troop. He used to watch it with his father. He sighed, and his memories were interrupted by a mountain of food in front of his face.

"Woah! Mom! Where did you get all this!"

Ollie smiled softly. "The boss let me borrow some ingredients. I've been working real hard so I could do this for you boys. Merry Christmas."

Billie was moved. He looked over to Mike who was already halfway done with his plate. He looked back down at his plate and some tears welled into his eyes.

Maybe, just maybe, things were going to be better around here.

(Sorry these chapters are so short! im not very good at long chapters. things are gonna get good soon! trust me, this is still a trillie fanfic!)
