Bright. Everything was bright.
Tre couldn't see a thing. He couldn't move his mouth without there being a sharp pain in his jaw.
Every last inch of his body felt like a rock.
What happened?
Ding!
Tre heard a faint noise come from his side. He groped blindly until he found his phone. He blinked, very slowly, trying to make his eyes adjust to the brightness of wherever he was. His eyes focus and he saw a message from Billie.
Billie.
Every last detail came rushing back to Tre, from his first messages with Billie to his father hitting him in the jaw with his ring stacked fist. His jaw hurt like a motherfucker, and he was too out of it to respond to Billie right away. He slowly got up and staggered to the bathroom. Staring back at him in the mirror was a sad, bruised boy with a broken heart. He couldn't take the beatings anymore. He had to do something.
trecool: done with this. leaving now
He felt bad sending Billie such a vague text but it was all he could conjure up at the moment. Going through their texts, Tre found a location he could find Billie at. Bill was the only person Tre could turn to, but he was on the other side of the Earth. No matter though, nothing was stopping Tre now. He had a one track mind and one goal: to get the fuck out of this shitty life.
bjarms: what?? whats going on?
bjarms: tre???
