Blood.
It was everywhere.
I couldn't get it to stop.
I know it seems like Tre and I didn't know or care about each other, but it was all too much.
I was naïve. I fell in love with someone who I didn't even know.
And now he's gone.
Just like Dad.
The rough fabric of the paper towel on my wrist only made the pain worse, but I had to stop the bleeding. It was only a matter of time before I lost too much. I had hurt myself before, but I never went this deep.
I guess thats what happens when you find out how worthless you are.

Mom's purse was in her room. She was snoring on the bed with some prick she seduced last night. I guess she had enough of Jared too. Good for her, I guess. He beat us up enough, thats for sure. She's not great either. Didn't even know I was unconcious for... I don't even know how long.
In her bag was 859.66 Euro*, just enough for me to get a train to the airport in Berlin and buy a plane ticket to Oakland. The rest of my journey is unknown. I felt bad taking her money, but I know she'll find more somewhere.
I didn't grab anything useless. All I had were a few tshirts, two pairs of pants, a bottle of coke and some bud. Didn't need a heavy load. Grabbing my jacket and opening the front door, I looked at my home for the last time. I let out a manic scoff as I slammed the door. Sayonara, Hell.

My enigine sputtered as I pulled onto my road. The clock read 1:05 am. I was returning from a party. Billie had said he didn't feel like coming, that he had homework to do. There was blinding blue and red lights coming from down the street near our house. My heart plummeted into my stomach as I slammed on the gas, racing to get to our house. As I pulled up, I saw someone being rolled out of the front door on a stretcher, hooked up to a breathing machine. Ollie was at the door, crying. I flew out of the door of my car, screaming,
"Billie!"
