"Larry! I need help!!!"
Fixing his bowtie, Tre stared at himself in the mirror. His spiky green hair suddenly seemed ridiculous. Riley doesn't want to go out with a clown.
"Tre, are you serious? Do you really think I know how to tie a bow tie?" Larry said, looking increduously at Tre's outfit. "Tre what the fuck is this getup, you and Riley going to see the circus or somethin'?"
Tre was wearing his classic shorts, a tuxedo t-shirt, and a rainbow bowtie. He had done his hair up into a little point on his head. It looked like he had a giant green horn on his head. He also had converse thigh-high boots on. He was definitely something special. He shrugged at Larry, switching his weight from on foot to another.
Larry sighed. "Lose the funky bowtie."
Tre pulled it off, exhaling loudly in defeat. "Larry, I don't think I can do this. Riley's perfect and I look like I just walked out of the fucking funhouse."
Larry was studying him carefully, not listening to a word he was saying. Suddenly, he stuck his hands out and started ruffling Tre's hair so it was wild.
"LARRY I SPENT AN HOUR ON THAT."
A loud beep interrupted Tre's protests, indicating Larry's friends were at the house to give Tre a ride to get Riley.
Larry looked at the crazy haired boy and said, "Lets go get 'er, clown boy."
Tre's heart pounded out of his chest. While Larry pushed him into the car he murmurred, "I'm not a clown."
"Yeah whatever you say boss."
And with that they went to get the girl.
