You don't realise how much you hurt me,

You do it without knowing,

So I wonder what you would say about

The feelings I'm not showing?

You think it's all a game,

And that I'm not really upset,

But the words keep coming in my head,

Words that I'm trying and need to forget.

At the end of the day,

It's only your smile that matters,

But your venom and voice,

My heart, it shatters.

You say you're too good for me,

But I say I deserve better,

I don't mean it though,

Cause you're a giver and I'm a letter.

We would be more perfect than flawless,

More than anyone will ever know,

I just need you to hear me out and listen
