We are not the same people,
Maybe not even the same race,
But we are all equal,
Neither one is higher in place.
We might not be the same colour,
Maybe not even the same skin,
But we are who we are,
No matter where we have been.
We might not like each other,
But only time will tell,
Doesn’t matter what religion we are,
Whether we go to heaven or hell.
It doesn’t matter if life is good,
Or if your life has been wrecked,
Because no matter who you are,
We all deserve the respect.
