The next two months passed by slowly. Now, it's April. School was going alright, and not a whole lot changed. Finley had to go spend a few weeks with her grandmother who was in the hospital, and today was her first day back. I sat in my normal spot in the gym. Soon, Meghan and Tailgate walked in together. Meghan was now 6 months pregnant. I heard it's going to be a little girl. I was happy for them of course, but still a bit hurt at what had happened. But I was in a great relationship with Finley and nothing was going to change that. Finley walked in at around 7:15. I waved at and she smiled with a worried look on her face. I stopped. Then, I shared the same worried expression. Please don't tell me she's... I looked at her stomach, where a small bump was beginning to form. She walked over and sat down beside me. "Are you?" I asked nervously. She nodded silently. "Two months..." she said. "Am I?" I asked. "Yeah," she said quietly. I nodded. Here I go again. "I'll go call my dad. Do your parents know?" She nodded, "Yeah, they are excited actually." "Really?" I asked surprised. "Yeah, they are." She said smiling slightly. I nodded. "I'll be right back." "Okay." She said. I got up and went outside to call my dad. He picked up, "Hey bud, what's up?" I gulped, "Dad, Finley's pregnant." The line was silent. "I know," he stated. "How?" I asked. "Her parents called, all excited." I sighed, "Oh." My dad laughed, "well, welcome to the life of a dad. I have to go. I'll see you tonight bud." Then, the line went dead. I was silent. Right, the life of a dad.
