her pov.

"Who the hell are you? And why are you following me?" His voice booms with visible infuriation.

Unknowingly, I start to sweat in severe agitation and nervousness. I open my mouth to make an attempt to explain, until Jimin unexpectedly turns around to look at a black-hooded man whose head is hung low. The unidentified man stops walking, as if out of guilt.

I sigh in relief. Phew, I thought he freaking saw me. That's impossible.

I position myself between the two out of curiosity.

"You've been following me all along, haven't you? What the hell do you want from me?" My client angrily snaps at the unknown man. "You were sent by mom, aren't you? God, what did I expect?"

"Sorry, Jimin, she's just worried about you," The unknown man raises his head, revealing himself as someone who looks like Jimin is familiar with.

"Jin hyung, of course it's you." Jimin chortles with hints of incomprehensible, mixed emotion. "Tell mom to stop getting my random friends to spy on me. It's starting to get annoying and embarrassing. I'm not the same anymore, just tell her to stop it."

Shivers travel my spine at the raised volume and tone of Jimin's voice.

"Sorry, Jimin, she just wants to make sure you're coping well ever since Namjoon--" The Seokjin guy seems to be visibly empathetic, while Jimin is cold.

"Don't carelessly say his name like that," Jimin harshly cuts him off. He then irritatingly reaches into his pockets. "If you're not going to leave me alone, then here's my phone and my wallet."

He proceeds to recklessly throw his belongings to the Seokjin guy, who hurriedly catches all of them without fail.

What? He's really giving all his personal stuff like that?!

I quickly follow Jimin after he dismisses the short conversation with the Seokjin guy. I then find myself in awe at his brave actions, just carelessly giving up his things like that out of frustration.

Wow, he's kinda cool.

Out of all the couples I've tried to put together in my whole cupid life, I've never came across a man like him, and I doubt I did in my past life too.

I mean, I died at freaking 17, and that's a fact because I literally look like it, so I'm assuming I didn't get to meet a lot of guys because I was still in high school.

"Q!" I hear X's voice calling out my name (or in that case, my label) from afar.

X stood right beside the basic-faced woman, Seohyung, who is walking towards Jimin's direction with her eyes glued on her phone.  Jimin, on the other hand is looking on the ground, looking like he's in deep thought.

Oh crap.

X then signals me to use my magic, one thing I wasn't confident of and I never got to use a lot. The pace of my heartbeat raises at the heat of the moment, seeing both Seohyung and Jimin slowly pass by each other without anything happening.

Panicking, I close my eyes and rush past Seohyung's arm, harshly bumping her side.

She then loses her balance and falls sidewards, her body heading towards the cold pavement. Jimin, on the other hand extends his hand and immediately grabs her by the wrist. Their eyes meet, both parties in apparent shock, and Jimin help pull her up.

"Seohyung?"

"Jimin?"

I sigh in relief at my accomplishment. I rush to X's side, who seems to be a little disappointed of my own actions. "Babe, why didn't you use your magic?"

Ugh, I was too stressed and I don't want to fail, okay? Geez.

I continue to stare at the couple as they start a conversation together, avoiding X's question. I then hold myself back from eavesdropping a conversation this time, mainly because I saw Jimin smile. And oh, Seohyung too.

They're having fun.

"Tsk tsk, we're done for today, they look like they're doing well. Do remember you need to keep doing this for a while too," X comments, grabbing my hand as an invitation to leave the two alone.

"I know. Ugh, stop spoonfeeding me, X."

I somehow don't want to leave though.
