his pov.

SHIT. SHIT. SHIT.

I can't believe I just blew up the piece of advice Hoseok gave me yesterday- to keep ignoring her when I see her. But here I am, accidentally replying to her.

This is bad, this is bad. I can't tell a ghost that I can see them or else I'll be haunted for the rest of my life.

"What did you just hear me? Park Jimin? Oi? Can you see me?" The weird girl shouts from afar, her footsteps coming towards to me.

I try to think of a quick save technique, and then it comes to my attention that I'm currently wearing earphones with no music in them.

"Yeah, I mean, he went away and stole my notes last week and you think I'm going to continue pretending to be friends with him like he didn't make me fail my test earlier? Of course it bothers me!" I push my improvisation skills to the test, pulling my phone out to pretend as if I was talking to someone in the phone.

The weird girl starts to listen as she catches up to my walking pace. "Oh, thank God, this is the second time you made me think you can hear me. What another weird coincidence."

I didn't expect her to actually believe me this time.

Is she actually an idiot?

I put up a few fake conversation lines before turning off my phone.

You can't see her and you can't hear her, Jimin. Get yourself together. Back then you were good at avoiding them.

her pov.

I follow Jimin inside an empty lecture room right after another incident of me getting the wrong idea of Jimin possibly seeing me. I then sit on an empty seat right behind him, and students start to pour in gradually. Wow, he's such an early bird, no teacher has even entered the room yet.

I smile to myself, feeling somehow lucky that I can get a good of my client without anyone stealing my presumed spot. Seohyung enters the room with a bunch of folders in her arm. She immediately spots Jimin, who in turn greets her with a small wave but she just returns it with a simple smile. Her smile looks quite forced, though.

She proceeds to take a seat somewhere at the back, making me groan to myself. As soon as she sits down, I stand from my seat, narrow my eyes at her and use my mind-control powers against her telepathically.

You want to sit next to Jimin.

She stands up in less than a few seconds, then passing by Jimin's row to sit next to him.

"You know what, I'm sitting next to you again today, Park Jimin," she beams a bright smile at Jimin, who looks very confused and flustered.

Instead of feeling accomplished again, the thought of yesterday's failure suddenly prevails my thoughts. How in the world can I control Seohyung's thoughts but not Jimin's?

I take a deep breath and test my mind control skills on Jimin for the second time. Jimin, you're going to start a conversation with Seohyung by the count of three.

3.. 2... 1.

Jimin didn't talk to Seohyung at all. Instead, Seohyung instigates the conversation. Jimin purses his lips and remains quiet and submissive. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, unable to find any sort of explanation for this inside my head. How is this possible? How can my magic have such exception?

I then remember Ero's statement from yesterday. He said that I need to try to push my curiosity as much as possible until he himself finds an answer to my confusion.

There's something about Jimin that I don't understand.
