his pov.
Unwilling to accept what just happened, I lean my back against my swivel chair, thinking about everything that happened today with that girl. My on-screen connection with Hoseok remains uninterrupted and he just gives me this really worried look.
That strange girl had been following me around all day, from the moment I first crossed the green light on the street earlier this afternoon. She walked right in front of me with her face so close to me, but I didn't want to sound rude.
I instead raised my voice to Seokjin hyung whom I already felt was following me since the very beginning of my walk. It's so strange because she kept sticking with me, and once she entered my room I couldn't help but suspect she was a ghost.
"Hoseok hyung," I call his name after being in standby for about a minute, "You said just earlier that you'd be on my side no matter what, right?"
(Well, yeah.)
"If I told you that I used to be able to see ghosts until my grandmother performed a ritual to get rid of my ability ten years ago, will you believe me?"
(What? Are you serious-)
"Yeah, I'm serious," I shuffle on my seat and look straight at him. "I sound crazy but it's real, and there's this strange girl who I can see and you can't, which is so strange. She didn't have the ghost-like energy I can easil detect from before. It's literally all over the place."
(Wait, hold on, so you used to see ghosts, and you think that ability came back and then suspect a girl to be a ghost just because I can't see her?)
"Well yeah, and she probably passed through the closed door because I didn't hear it open," I explain to him, and he's probably already going crazy because of me.
"What do I do? I feel like the ghost is stalking me. Grandma told me to never pay attention to any ghosts that tried to catch my attention and follow me around," I look down. All the bad memories created from ghosts all come back to my head once again.
I continue to further explain to Hoseok my experiences today and my old experiences with ghosts as well. Even if he looks uncomfortable with what I'm saying, he continues to listen anyway.
At the end of the conversation he proceeds to give me once piece of advice before I could go on with my life tomorrow.
Well, that's in case I her again tomorrow.
I really hope I don't see her.
her pov.
I arrive at Jimin's university after being bummed out about my powers yesterday, once alone again. I don't know what I expect of X ever since what happened yesterday, but today I just assume that he's just going to leave me again. I mean, he didn't even join me to find Jimin this time, I had to do it myself.
What a jerk.
I wasn't able get anything from Ero about my powers yesterday because he refused to give me any straight answers. All he said was 'That's interesting, but I really don't know what's wrong with your powers,' though it was completely obvious that he had an answer in mind.
I look up from my trails and see Jimin with earphones plugged inside his ears, walking towards my direction. I smile to myself because he conveniently shows up without me having to put any effort once again. However, compared to his expressionless face I saw yesterday, he now looks more agitated and strange.
He's looking down as if he doesn't want to look at anybody in the eye, his body gesture looks very close and unwelcoming.
"Oh my God, what's with you today Jimin? You look very bothered," I try to talk to him like the stupid idiot I am. As always, of course he can't say anything back to me because he can't see me-
"Of course, why wouldn't I be bothered?" I hear him whisper irritatingly under his breath as he passes by my side. I halt my walking suddenly and slowly turn my back to him in instant shock.
Wait what, did you just reply to me?
