her pov.
Time had suddenly slowed its course as my foot hits the small rock, my whole body losing balance as I close my eyes shut, and in less than seconds my face already started kissing the ground. Ugh, shit.
I shuffle to a sitting position, accepting that the determination I had inside of me a second ago has just evaporated into thin air. I then look up to the couple, only to see Jimin looking down at my eyes. Straight into them.
Can you see me? Why the hell are you looking at me like that?!
He then steps away from Seohyung and kneels down before me without sparing me another glance. I hold my breath in my position, being careful not to make a move. He bends down to pick something from right beside me, and it turns out to be a dandellion.
I sigh once again.
Okay, he was staring at the freaking dandellion, not you, Q, don't be stupid.
Jimin stands up and started to blow the dandellion's petals, as if he was bored with his company that he just needs to find something else enjoyable to do. I mean, after all he freaking gave away all his belongings to that Seokjin guy from earlier, while the main female lead here is just on her phone.
This needs to change.
But that little jerk called X just left me to do all this stuff on my own.
I groan out loud in frustration as I stand up. I walked in front of the couple that's in obvious need of harmony.
I narrow my gaze and focus on Seohyung's phone, which displays messages from some person whom I read to be some friend of hers, talking about random stuff.
It's right there, the reason why they stopped talking long ago.
I stare at the phone long enough, trying to get my powers of technology interruption to work. After a few seconds, the phone immediately shuts down after I drain her battery. I push my palms towards them in the air and use them to freeze the duo.
Seohyung, you're going to start talking to Jimin again, start talking to him about you failing to value his company, I telepathically contact her to change her mind.
Of course, I said that because the data files said that they stopped talking a few months ago because of a tragedy regarding Jimin that Seohyung failed to recognize. She failed to be there for him or ask him if he was okay because she wasn't aware. However, despite that they only started talking again last week.
I release the two, then waiting for Seohyung to start speaking.
"What-- what happened to my phone?" Seohyung confusedly asks herself as she picks at the buttons on her screen. She then looks up and saw Jimin's eyes.
She laughs. "Never mind, it's kind of rude to keep looking at my phone anyway. Let's talk first Jimin," She gives him a cute smile.
"Talk? Wow, that's so rare of you," Jimin teases her. "You're just talking to me because your phone died."
"What? No-- ugh, the phone made me realize my mistake. Sorry Jimin. You know I miss talking to you right?" her smile grows even wider, and then they start to walk again.. now with a better conversation to talk about.
An instant victory celebration plays inside my head after succeeding to use my powers once again. I know that I'm a bit stiff now, but I'm totally going to do better.
After the brief moment of accomplishment, I then find myself sinking into the depths of my brain's curiosity once again. It's not about me this time, but about Jimin.
A while ago, during that encounter with the Seokjin guy, Park Jimin seems really cold and menacing. It was as if life had been sucked out of him. The color and warmth that he naturally has, as said on the data sheets, weren't there when I met him. And to think he also looked scary when Seokjin talked to him like that, about what happened to a friend called Namjoon or something.
Could that friend be the tragedy the data sheet had mentioned?
But again, why am I so curious?
