her pov.
Even after watching Jimin and Seohyung finish their friendly catching-up session, my untamed interest to learn more about Jimin's continues to grow.
It's strange because I've never even thought too much of a client like this, especially considering the fact that one of the few things I know about him is that he likes to hang out in girls' public restrooms.
I still don't know why though.
I find myself constantly following Jimin walk home. I constantly keep my pace and make sure that I'm always right behind him, guiding the red string at all times even if isn't really something we need to do.
He arrives inside his apartment after a ten minute long walk. I quietly enter alongside with him, then spotting a very clean, well-organised, monochromatic white environment.
The floors are spotless, objects are carefully segregated to their own respective spots, shelves and small pieces of display contained no speck of dust. His place is seemingly more compressed and small compared to normal, so I assume that he's living here alone.
Why am I so surprised that he's so organised??
I mean, isn't he a university student?
He enters a room right after locking the door, while I end up sitting on a chair by the window. His place doesn't seem to be anywhere near a university, why doesn't he live near one?
"Yeah, Hoseok hyung," I hear Jimin's muffled voice beneath his bedroom door after a few minutes of just staring
I walk towards the door and press my ear against its surface. Though I could use my powers and easily pass through the door, I can't risk having to use it again to avoid Jimin from bumping into me.
"Well, I gave away my phone and wallet to Jin hyung because mom's trying to get in my nerves again, she's still trying to send everyone to stalk me whenever I go outside," Jimin says in an exhausted manner.
It really sounds as if he's talking to a friend through his computer.
(You know how much they care about you right? They're just being careful in case you cause trouble again. Remember what happened with that woman at the bar last week? She almost pressed charges against you.) I manage to hear a second party's voice through the door.
"Ugh, I don't know, it would be nice if mom leaves me alone for once. I'm not in high school anymore," Jimin replies, "Also, there's something that's been bothering me a lot since the beginning of this day."
(What is it? Is it girls trying to follow you around again?) The other guy says in a fake concerned tone, which almost sounds very sarcastic.
"Well, you can say that, I feel like I'm being followed around and stuff, it's kinda weird but, let's talk about it when we meet again," Jimin cuts himself off.
Wait, what the hell? What is he talking about? Is there a ghost somewhere?
(Wow, really? Are you being haunted or something?)
"I don't know.. hyung. Maybe it's all in my head, I don't want to keep thinking that it's real or not. Maybe it's the fact that my mother keeps using my friends as minions that gets to my head. Besides, I need some distractions that doesn't involve getting drunk," Jimin replied.
Wow, Park Jimin went straight from a little cool to being reckless. Why is everything about drinking though?
Even the files said so.
(Well, I can set you up in a blind date if you want. What can you say about that?) The other guy suggests, making my eyes grow wide.
HELL NO!
I gather up the courage to use my powers to pass through the closed door in a ghost-like manner, then being invited in the more cramped, personal space of Park Jimin. I see him sitting in front of his laptop with his other friend on full screen.
"What the heck Jimin, say no!" I stupidly try to encourage him when he literally can't hear a word I say. "You gotta say no!!"
"Really? I mean I haven't really met girls in a while," Jimin chuckles, his eyes turning into small slits of happiness.
I immediately try to use mind control against him to make him change his mind, hoping it would work.
Park Jimin, you need to say no to this.
"Wait actually, maybe I can pass.." Jimin looks up at the ceiling, almost like in a thinking position.
Please hesitate, please hesitate.
"Ugh, nevermind, who're we meeting?" He shot himself upright again, making my eyes grow wide again in surprise.
What.
Just. What?
That trick has 100% success rate.
Why did it not work on him?
