At lunch I noticed both my friends. Izu-kun was with two other students from his class, the girl he told me about, and the guy who complained in the beginning of the exam. Kacchan was also with other students, there was the red head that "helped" me during the exam, a blond guy, and a pink girl. I couldn't bring myself to approach either of them. They were all 1A students, while I was a 1C student. I wasn't in the hero course.

Instead I found the only empty table and sat at it. It was strange since elementary I would either sit with Izu-kun, or Kacchan, or both. I noticed someone sit down across from me. I looked up to find my class mate, Shinso. I didn't say anything just nodded in acknowledgment of him. "What nothing to say to your savior," he asked.

I raised an eyebrow at him as I shoved a piece of food in my mouth. It was amazing, the best thing I've ever had. I instantly started shoveling food in my mouth at and alarming rate. "Well first time we met you needed help walking, then you were sick, and now I've saved you room loneliness...." he was watching me eat with concern and disgust. "You're eating that like it's the only thing you'll eat today." I smirked cause that was the truth.

"Are sure that it's not because everyone else is too scared to talk to you?" I asked. I noticed the way the students looked at him. Fear stricken.

"Nice wording," he smirked, "And yeah..." We finished eating in silence. I didn't expect that to become a normal thing for the two of us.

After school I rushed to the nurse's office, as word got around that Izu-kun was back there again. "Can you stop breaking yourself?" I asked ask I came in through the door.

"Hello Amane," Recovery Girl greeted me. "Please do not break the door." I cringed out an apology.

"Oh, hey," I greeted All Might when I noticed he was there. "How's it being a teacher? "

"Alright, the students don't argue with me," he said, passive aggressively referring to the small arguments we had through the months. I smirked with a small shrug, nothing I can do now.

I walked over to my friends side. His injuries were more than just from One for All. What could have happened. I glared at him until he told me what happened. I groaned, annoyed those two couldn't keep peace if I wasn't around. After another ten minutes of hanging around I thought it was getting late enough. "I'm gonna head home," I told Izu-kun, "Don't get broken again." I playfully glared at him as I left the infermary.

The next week I did something that would seem baseless to others, but was everything to me. I noticed the Izu-kun was at the table before his other friends showed up, so I summoned the courage I had and came and sat down next to him. "Hey Izu-kun," I greeted him, "Is it alright if I sit with you today?" I didn't want to be barging in on anything.

"Yeah," he answered, "Where have you been eating?" Yeah it was about time he'd be asking that. He knew if I was anxious I would hide away on the bathroom. Luckily I only did that the first day.

"With a classmate," I shrugged taking a bite of my food. I was still amazed at how amazing the food was.

"Mindoria, who's your friend?" a stern voice asked. I looked to find the two other students he usually sits by.

I quickly forced the food down my throat so I could talk with a clear mouth. "Hi, I'm Amane Jikan. I've been Izuku's friend since kindergarten." I said bowing slightly to the two. I could tell that both of them were taking note of my braces. It's almost impossible for a disabled person to be a hero. Unless you include the Xavier from the X men. But he's fictional.

"Any friend of Deku's is a friend of ours," the girl said with a smile of her own, "I'm Ochaco Maraka." She returned a bow to me.

"And I'm Tenya Iida," the guy introduced himself. We all took a seat and I sat their awkwardly as I internally congratulated myself for talking to new people without freaking out. "Amane, are you the one who got the top of entrance exams, but only in general studies?" I wasn't surprised word got around, it's weird if you don't know the reason.

"Yup," I answered, holding my chopsticks in my mouth. I just met these people I didn't really want them to learn my parents are criminals. "Don't ask it's personal." The three started having a conversation alone, quickly learning I was fine not being a part of it.

Soon I felt a familiar precense looming over me. "Hey Baku," I greeted my blond friend as I slurp Ed up a noodle. He was glaring at me like usual, but unlike others it had no effect on me.

"Come on," he growled, grabbing me by my collar and dragging me away without telling me anything.

"But my food," I complained, knowing he knew it was the only meal I eat a day.

"You can come to my house for dinner you moron," he grumbled.

"Yes, Baku Mom food!" I cheered to his annoyance, "Where we going and why?" I finally got around to asking after we left the cafeteria.

"Rep stuff. I ain't doing this shit alone," he grumbled. I actually forgot about those responsibilities. I was glad Kacchan was there to remind me.

I was late to class due to all the stuff we needed to do, and the fact Kacchan didn't help a tiny bit. He was going to get a punch in the neck later. Luckily I got escused for it. "Hey Shadow," I greeted Shinso as I draped myself over his desk. "Will you be my partner?" We were working in partners, and I wasn't used to talking to anyone else in the class.

"If you stop calling me that," He said as stoic as he usually is.

"Nicknames show that I care," I informed him, "And that be a pretty sick hero name." He just glared at me until I got off his desk for us to work together.
