Over Powered (My Hero Acedamia) - Dropped

Chapter 14

"Nope, I am not letting you use me," I told Shinso and walked away with my hands in the air. He didn't even have enough time to properly ask me the question. He wanted us to be on a team, but I knew exactly what he was planning.

I went to find another team, or more specifically, Izu-kun. He was talking with his two friends, Ochako and Tenya. As I approached Tenya walked away. I just glanced between the two, but didn't question anything. "Can I join you're team?" I asked timidly.

"Of course," the two agree symotaniously. "But do you need to be the one we carry?..." She glanced down at my braces.

I scoffed at the idea. "No," I informed her, "I can, and have, carry Izu-kun for probably too long just for the sake of a joke."

"I'm not trash," he snapped knowing exactly what I was talking about.

"I know," I told him, wrapping an arm around his shoulder, "We're both trash." Ochako snickered at the two of us.

Rest of our team fell in place. We were working on formulating our plan. The main thing I was worried about was needing to take off my braced to put on the gear. But with Ochako making everything float except the gear I thought it would be fine. We did a quick test to see if it was true. The was an uncomfortable pull on my legs, but I could live with it. "Ji-chan," my friend asked for my attention as I was messing around as I could walk normally without help for the first time since I as ten. "If a team gets too close it's you're job to slow down time on them so we can dodge them easier."

"Got it," I told him with a thumbs up. The others looked at us surprised. "Chronokenisis,"I shrugged. I learned a dance name for my quirk and loved using it. I don't think it would be good to manipulate time on our team, since they don't know what to do when I do. It sorta takes a certain thought prosecess to function properly in messed up time space. Unless it's frozen time, it's like nothing has changed, at least for others.

After going through our plan one more time we got into formation. I was in the front left, with Izu-kun's left leg on my right shoulder. Next to me was Tokoyami and behind me was Ochako. Once the game started everyone rushed towards us, just before they reached us we soared up into the air out of their reach. We were all excited that the plan worked. We were just going to stay in the sky as long as we can.

It seemed to be working, until Bakugou. I slowed down time in him. "Baku at six o'clock," I told them, they all turned to see that there was a slow motion Kacchan flying towards us. Tokoyami slapped my out of the sky as I returned time for normal to him.

"How were you able to tell he was there?" Ochako asked, "You were looking forward the entire time."

"I sorta have this sense of everything around me," I explained. It was sorta hard to explain. That's why when things show up unexpected I really freak out cause I couldn't sense them coming. "But when it comes to Kacchan, I've developed an a cute sense to him if he's approaching."

"I think it's the smell," Izu-kun said. We laughed but he was completely serious. We needed to land as the jetpack ran out of fuel and the gear was dragging us down. We could still run around easily as Ochako still had us in zero gravity. "Ice!" I yelled before anyone else noticed it. The Half-er from 1A had tried freezing the ground, again, and it was coming right towards us.

We were getting read to get back up the air when the ice surrounded our groups in a circle. They were quickly running towards us. I slowed down time on them, getting scared. Tokoyami was defensive, and none of us had an offensive quirk. I could melt the ice and we could escape. But everyone was looking forward to a fight. "I'm gonna release them, you ready?" I asked them.

"Let's stick to his left side," Izu-kun told us. We adjusted to his left side before I set them free of a slow time. They quickly changed directions to run right at us, but we tried staying on his left side. Some guy shot electric bolts at us, which were blocked by the shadow, which weakened it. No one but us knew this. There was less than one minuet left, we could do this.

I was mistaken. The team ran past us and grabbed our headband from us, putting us at zero points. Crap. Without speaking we all knew that we were gonna turn around and get it back. We ran at full stepped at the team, from the left side. Tokoyami blocked many of the attacks for what I could I speed up time on them at such an alarming rate the disappeared in a could of dust. As we were right beside the team I froze time and reach our grabbing a head band from around the guy's neck at random.

It was my first time properly seeing him. It was really like he was split in half. His hair was two colors, as were his eyes. The scar on his face even seemed to be contained to one half of his face. Even with the scar he was pretty cute. Not like Izu-kun adorable cute. Like, oh no he's hot, cute. I got a bit embarrassed from how long I was watching him, as if everyone saw and time wasn't frozen. I returned to my spot and unfroze time a couple seconds before the game finished.

Izu-kun got down from out shoulders, and I guess Ochako unfroze Tim as pain shot through my legs. I fell to the ground, both willingly and unwillingly. "Oh my gosh, are you alright!? I forgot!" Ochako freaked out and sat down next to me.

I'm fine I said adjusting so I could sit up. "I got a band," I said, showing her the only emotion. It wasn't ours, but it had a large amount. Ochako took it and gave each it to Izu-kun where the three we had were brought together. With all of them we got in fourth. Man I really was cursed to be in that place. Maybe I'll only ever be the fourth most powerful hero when that time come. But if Izu-kun is the most powerful I'll be fine with that.

I had taken of the hover boots, and was stranded on the ground as the team celebrated. "Can you bring me my braces?" I asked one of them. Izu-kun came and picked me up and put my on his shoulders which was strange cause I was a bit taller than him. We both laughed and cheered as he carried me over to where I had put my braces.
