A/N - I wrote this before season 3 aired, so from now forward, strays from any source material

I was sitting on my bunk reading one of the many books I brought. I shared a cabin with Ochako, Yaoyorozu, and Jiro. We had free time until dinner, so I chose to read. I didn't even bother looking up when someone else came into the cabin. "Oh, hey Amane," Yaoyorozu greeted me, "I thought you'd be out with the others."

"Naw, I got books," I said, flipping o to the next page. "Don't do that you idiot," I hissed under my breath at the main character. It's not like I've read the book five times over already.

"Is it that good?" a voice I wasn't expecting asked. I peaked over the edge of my book to see a mob of white and red hair.

"No, I hate it," I said sarcastically. I was at a mix between having a conversation with him, and reading my book.

"Then you can come hang out with us,"the girl said and pulled me out of the cabin. I had no qualms with it, cause you know, hanging with my crush, but I didn't get to mark my place in my book.

I was dragged out into the woods, which was understandable cause the camp we were at was in the woods. We met up with three other of our classmates, Jiro, Tokoyami, and Koda. "We got an even number," Jiro clapped her hands.

"Now we're not so odd," I said, making a terrible joke. They all deadpanned. "I can leave..." I gestured back the way we came. I took a step back before Yaoyorozu pulled me further into the group.

"Never have I ever..." it was my turn. I don't get why we needed an even number to play, but it's been fun. "had a pineapple." I said with a smirk. I've been using poverty to my aid, as everyone else was three spaces ahead of me. They all groaned and moved their piece up the ladder. All except Todoroki.

"You've never had a pineapple?" Tokoyami asked the guy.

"It looks disgusting," my crush shook his head.

"What fruit have you had Amane?" the attention was turned to me.

"Apples, oranges, bananas, and I once had some cherries," I answered. They were all amazed on how few variety of fruits I had little did they knew I've been living off of Microwave ramen, peanutbutter sandwiches, and school lunch food all my life.

"My turn," Jiro laughed, "Never have I ever been to prison." Everyone else started laughing, until I reached over and moved my piece.

They watched me wait for me to explain. "To visit my parents," I shrugged picking up the flower crown I've been working on. "I'm on a first name basis with the warden."

It was Koda's turn next. "Never have I ever spoke more than one language," he whimpered. I willingly moved my piece along with Yaoyorozu.

"Never have I ever made a terrible pun," Tokoyami said. I begrudgenly moved my piece, that one was obviously aimed at me.

"Never have I ever gotten a teacher angry at me for having hick ups," the assistant class replied said with a smile on her face. This time I got angry as I moved my piece. That was exactly what happened twice the week before the week of finals. They all went around saying things obviously to get me, except for Todoroki.

I was the first one out and angry about it. "I hate you guys," I pouted, putting my flower crown on my head, "I'm not making you flower crowns anymore." I knew it wasn't much of a disappointment, but it was the only thing on my head at the time.

I sat there pouting as they finished up the game. Jiro won, for having the most boring life. "That was fun, but I have a main character to go yell at," I said as I was the first to start to leave.

"What did Midoriya do?" Yaoyorozu asked. I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Nothing, I'm talking about my book," I clarified before running off. By the time I got back to my book the sound for dinner rang through the camp. I grabbed my book and slunk out off the cabin. I was reading it as I was waiting in the long line. They were just as bad as the lines at school during lunch. Well basically our entire school was there, so it's understandable. I was going to take a step forward cause I sensed the line moving, but two hands grabbed my shoulders as stopped me from moving. I looked up to see I almost walked into the back of the upperclassmen in front of me. I cranes my neck back to see who stopped me.

"Oh, hey Todoroki," I greeted my crush along with a blush coated smile. "Thanks, I probably shouldn't walk and read at the same time." I scratched the bad k of my neck, and closed my book around my finger to keep my place.

"I can steer you as you read," he offered. My face lit up instantly, and he instantly knew I accepted dhis offer, and returned to reading. I wasn't even another paragraph in when I felt his breath on my neck. I glanced over to see he was trying to read my book over my shoulder." English....?" he questioned it.

"Yeah," I nodded, "Most of what I read is in English. English was actually the first language I learned to read." I don't know why, but I took pride in that pointless fact.

"So you can help me on my English homework?" it was a mix of a question, statement and tease.

"It's summer, we don't have homework," I scoffed trying to have a conversation and read at the same time. If I had not had the entire book on memory I wouldn't have succeeded.

He hands reappeared on my shoulders and pushed me forward as the line moved. I felt all tingling just having him touch me. "Well throughout the year..." he didn't need to finish the sentence for me to know what he meant.
