november 27 — tuesday
both boys looked at each other with worry. the minute they walk on the school's property; walk in those big brown doors; hands together; with big bright smiles to prove that something was going on between the two, people were going to start to wonder. and Jack wasn't much for attention, as that's why his friend group was relatively small. unlike Finn who had a small friend group himself, but talked to basically everyone in the school. his personality just seemed to draw people in. Jack's did too, just not in the best kind of way.
"ready?" Finn wondered while holding his hand out. Jack looked between Finn, his hand and the school building. and with a deep breath, he nodded before grasping the other's hand, lacing their fingers like yesterday on their fake date. Finn leaned down and pressed a small kiss to Jack's forehead. the younger couldn't help but look at him in shock. "you'll be fine. we only have to pretend for a month or so."
Jack didn't say anything. he just gave a weak smile, making Finn frown.
"oh come on. smile for me. and a real one this time. i know dating me isn't that bad" Finn pressed, while making a motion for the two of them to actually begin their journey into the school building. Jack followed closely behind.
"i rather not. smiling is for people who are happy" Jack replies bluntly. "as for dating you...no comment" Finn's jaw dropped. he was a little upset from Jack's depressing statement at first, but then was just wounded right after. he will admit that he isn't the best when it comes to having to care about other people; but he thinks he could be a mighty fine boyfriend if he tried.
"i'm hurt. i'm trying to commit to this relationship just like you are. i deserve boyfriend points for that at least" Finn scoffed, as the two now stood at the school doors. hearts beating rapidly. millions of thoughts coursing through their heads.
"you're right. one boyfriend point. get ten by the end of todaynand i'll give you a smooch" Jack joked, puckering his lips making a smacking noise. Finn laughed lightly.
