Rex's POV
I groaned when Night Empress left the scene.
"F*ck! F*ck this!" Hindi pa nakuntento si Chaos, nilapitan niya pa ang nakasaradong lagusan ang sinipa-sipa. He looks really angry. Hindi lang naman siya. Same as me.
I clenched my fist. Earlier, I don't know how I could react. Seeing her again after years brings a lot of memories to me. I can't deny it, kahit papaano, mahal ko pa rin talaga siya. But after what she did to my life, I swear, tatapusin ko na ang kahibangan ko sa kanya.
She left a deep painful wound on my heart that she needs to pay the consequences. Ang laki ng nagawa nito sa buhay ko. Sa pagkawala ng kuya ko, pakiramdam ko nangangapa ako. It was all because of her.
The next time I'll saw her, I want her dead. And then, I can already move on.
"Saan ba ang labasan ng lagusan na yan?" Autumn asked.
I shrugged. I've never walked through there because she doesn't want me to. Alam ko na ngayon kung bakit. In situations like this, that was her escape door. Clever. Really clever.
"Wala na tayong magagawa. She already escaped." Saad ko sabay gala ng tingin sa paligid. She did a lot of damage. Kumunot ang noo ko nang makita si Kai na nakatayo malayo sa amin. May hawak siyang kung ano.
"Kai, what was that? Do you find anything valuable?" Nalipat ang tingin naming lahat sa kanya. He look at us and shrugged. Although I not convinced because of his expression, I let it pass. I motioned the rest to remove and dispose the broken Phase Two.
Napatingin ulit ako sa ikaapat na lagusan.
"Hindi pa tayo tapos... Night Empress."

Ellisse POV
Ugh.
Bumaluktot ako sa sahig nang makalabas kami.
The pain... Is slowly killing me. I held my wound and tried to stop the flow of blood. Parang mauubusan ako dito ng dugo.
"Ahhh!!" I screamed in pain.
Naiiyak na ako. No, this is not going to be the end of me. Babalik pa ako. Lilinisin ko pa ang pangalan ko. Aayusin ko pa ang problema ko. Please take anything. But not my life.
Hinahabol ko ang hininga ko at unti-unti ba ring nanlalabo ang paningin ko. I can see black on the edges of my eyes. I feel restless. And terribly thirsty.
"A-are y-you okay?" Takot na tanong ng babaeng kasama ko.
