So You're The One

Angelina's POV

I was currently skimming through the list of names that pertained to the Black Sage Pack. Alpha Malice had given it to me not only a few hours ago. He tried to apologize for everything that happened to me but I never forgave him.

Still no luck. I sighed. Not a single person matches the voice.

Isaac left a while ago, saying that he had to go and see his mother who was probably freaking out because he left so urgently to come and see me.

So far Alison, Jason, Jordan, and my adoptive parents, have come to talk to me, telling me that they've always cared about me and always will. Landon is the only one who never came.

"Michelle can't be it, she's a girl. Donna, no.....Cameron's voice is way too deep...." I muttered to myself.

Mitch.....Larry....

Wait! Mitch. That's the name of my biological father. Mitch! He's the voice! God, how could I be so stupid? I snapped at myself as I shook my head.

I immediately shot up from my seat and out of my room. I went to my father's room, his stench covering the air around his door.

I opened the door, the room was empty.

I walked around the room and nearly fell on my face when I tripped over something sticking out from under the rug lying on the floor.

How did I not see that?

I pulled the carpet away from the floor and quietly gasped as I found a trap door.

As soon as I opened it, an alarm sounded.

Fuck!

I quickly closed it, putting the carpet back over the handle, and bolted for the closet. I cracked the door so I could still see a sliver of the room.

My father hurriedly entered the room, cursing as he went to a panel behind a picture frame. The alarm stopped as soon as he pressed a few buttons.

"Fucking wolves, they don't know how to keep their noses out of other people's damned business." He growled and yanked the rug away from the floor.

He stepped down into the trap door, which led to another room. After a few seconds went by, I followed him.

Jars were the first thing I saw when so crouched down on the bottom step, hiding as best I could behind the railing.

There was a huge crate in the center of the room which held a blue orb. it looked strange, almost like a soul or spirit.

There was a label on it in giant Capital letters that read: A'S WOLF.

What? What the hell did A's Wolf mean?

The orb instantly turned into a giant wolf when I finished reading the label. It began pacing in the glass crate. It kept shimmering like a ghost. It was there but at the same time, it wasn't.

It's eyes found mine and it howled, loud and clear. My father cursed again, turning to the wolf.

"Shut up, before I kill your pack!" He hissed, silencing her for only a short bit.

It's eyes still pleaded to me before it howled again. It was a cry for help.

Then I realized what the A stood for in the label. Angelina.

My breathing started to come out raggedly. I was ticked.

"First you beat me black and blue and shun my from the family, then you possess me and take my wolf? What the hell goes through your mind?" I snarled, coming out from behind the shadows of the steps.

My father jumped, swiftly turning around to meet my oncoming form.

I knew I was no match for him without my wolf's strength, so I grabbed the nearest heaviest thing which happened to be a pretty good sized brick, and threw it at the glass that contained my wolf.

"No!" He screamed at me and my eyes went wide when the glass didn't break.

He looked from me to the glass and then back again before laughing cruelly.

"Not so powerful anymore, are you Angelina?" He cackled and I began to back up towards the stairs as he came stepped forward.

"Why? Why did you have to hurt me? Why couldn't you have been the father you should have been? Why couldn't you have been the mate you should have been?" I asked.

"Your mother had me wrapped around her finger. I did everything for her but she threw it back in my face in the end. She played with other wolves and teased me. Then once I tried to get her, she snapped at me. She wouldn't let me near her. I was rejected like you, in the beginning. She played me this whole time, so I went to other women who actually wanted me. Then I found out she was pregnant with you! I hated you from the start. I knew you were going to be just like her, and you are, god you are." He chuckled humorlessly.

I frowned.

"If you wanted mother so badly then why the hell did you cheat on her? Why did you make her feel like shit? A mate devotes himself to their mate, wanting to pleasure them. You did none of that. You basically let her go. Plus, I know mom would never do that. You can say the truth and say that you weren't willing to give up your player side. You hurt mom and couldn't bare the thought of taking care of her child. How do you think Elena feels, knowing that she'll never have the dad she wanted?" I hissed and he clenched his jaw.

"Elena will do just fine without me. She's stronger than you'll ever be." He spat and I snorted.

"Stronger than me? How about equal to me, just like everyone else is? We are all the same. You seem to think your so special, but face reality, dad, your not." I snarled, emphasizing the word dad.

He took several more steps closer to me and my back hit a wall of jars. They rattled, swaying side to side, threatening to spill from their holders.

"You're nothing, you're nothing but a small little human pest now that I've taken your wolf. I could crush you with my bare hand if I wanted to, but why bother when you're powerless?" He sneered and he stopped in front of me.

I stood tall, not hesitating once. I would not show him fear, I wouldn't give him that satisfaction.

"Poor Angelina. You'll be a legend. The Alpha who was stripped of her wolf and turned human. I must say, you have smart pack members. They'll turn on you in the blink of an eye if there is threat towards their family or mate." He chuckled again.

I stared him directly in the eye.

"I hate you. I hate you, so much." I spat.

"Ah, and I don't care in the least." He replied, a sick smirk on his face.

"You disgust me." I sneered, shoving him away from me and his eyes flashed black.

"You'll pay for that, you bitch!" He yelled, enraged but before he could do anything, glass shards went everywhere.
