The Rescue
I lifted my head, my back hunched against the wall of the dark, unwell lit dungeon-type room.
A moan pressed past my chapped and bloodied lips as I looked around.
"You've been a good pup." Ashton chuckled humorlessly but I didn't have enough energy to growl at his downgrading words.
"Ah, is the poor little puppy not able to fight back anymore? Has my pet weakened you too much?" Ashton taunted.
Blood dribbled from my mouth and I felt so humiliated.
I'm practically useless. I can't move, I can't speak, I can hardly think.
My fingers twitched as I looked Ashton in the eye.
"I still see the fire in your eyes, haven't given up have you? No, you dogs are too damn arrogant for your own good." He spat, shaking his head.
He took two long steps to reach me and grabbed my jaw firmly in his hand.
"You're not worthy enough to be my son's mate, you can't even protect yourself. How the hell did you become an Alpha?" He hissed, forcing my head to the side so my already bleeding neck was exposed.
An unwanted whimper slipped past my lips and I could feel his excitement. I sniffed the air. No. I could smell his excitement. The scent landed on the back of my tongue, tasting sour.
He basked in my discomfort. He wanted me to beg, but that was something I refused to give him satisfaction in.
His fangs brushed the wound on my neck causing blood to spill out. He lapped it up, and I shifted, not liking his closeness.
"Let me go." It took all my effort and left me breathless by the time I was finished.
"I told you if you survived." He snorted, pulling me closer to him.
I pulled away with the strength au had left but I didn't move. He kept me close to him, refusing to let me go.
"How...much longer?" I whispered, panting heavily.
I hated how weak I was. It reminded me of the time when I was still a member of the Black Sage Pack, weak and useless. I was a waste of space then.
"Until I say, pup." He snapped and his teeth re-punctured the wound.
I gave a cry in pain, tears welling in my eyes from how much the wound burned as Ashton drained me.
I began to tremble, my hands shaking as they weakly tried to push Ashton away.
"Please.....please..." I sobbed.
I had no other choice than to beg, no matter how much I didn't want to.
"Beg, you worthless dog." He said and continued draining me.
"Stop....I'll do anything..." I begged, tears streaming down my face.
It hurt. It hurt so much.
Suddenly there were shouts in alarm and the door burst open.
"My Lord, we have company!" A guard warned Ashton.
He pulled away from me, grabbing my hair. He jerked me to my feet and I screamed as pain shot through my head from the hair being pulled.
I nearly fell to the floor but Ashton caught me, dragging me as he quickly left the room.
"He's coming for me." I whispered but I knew he heard me.
"You'll be dead by the time he reaches you." He snickered and threw me into another room.
