Chapter two:
The Time Has Come
It was a boring six months in that spaceship. My sister didn't talk to me much. Can't say I blame her. She would talk to people I didn't know over the phones installed on the ship. Speaking of which, we don't have phones on Korin... how did she know them? Where did she learn to use this equipment? Why the hell was my sister hiding these things from me?
After six months she dropped me off on an almost abandoned planet, the climate was much warmer, and it was covered in vast green fields. But there was only one building. Thats it. One. It was a large building. I would almost say it was churchish except it wasn't. If that makes any sense. It was tall, and made of dark wood. Six stained glass windows took up almost all of the front off the building. I couldn't make out what was on them, but they had very distinct colors. One bright red, one light blue, one lush green, one white, one hot pink, and one deep purple. She dropped me off, and told me to tell someone named Aiden that "the time has come". No idea what that ment. Alice said he would know what I ment. Then, she just left. No goodbye. Nothing.
I entered the large wooden doors that make loud screeching noises as they slowly opened. The monastery, or I assume it was called, smelled like old wood and smoke. Smelled like someone was burning rotten wood and dried leaves. I stood there peering into the dark halls that were covered in swords and other weapons. Why were there weapons in a church? These are the questions.
I was about to give up and officially claim this place abandoned, when a voice piped up behind me.
"Welcome, Alex"
I whipped around to face the voice.
" I've been expecting you"
